How long did it take everyone to get confirmation of the redeemed offer? I loaded the offer onto my card about a week ago and booked and paid for my cruise this morning (so about 5 hours ago now) but still haven’t received the congratulations email. The charge is pending on my card and the cruise consultant said the transaction went through.
I booked a new cruise just this afternoon, and received the congratulations email in about an hour. -

If there are two of you, then their bus makes sense. For more than 2 a taxi would be a better deal. Flybus is also a good option, probably better than the NCL transport as it would take about as long but would be much less expensive
Does Flybus come to the Skarfabakki cruise terminal to retrieve passengers? -

I’ll take a look — the wind was upwards of 18 knots today so most everyone was inside.
With high winds, they may not have any out and available. But I will be interested to hear if some seating is available during the calmer periods. -
We board the Star at the end of the month. Did you notice whether chairs or loungers are available on the promenade?

Anytime I see the soft serve machine operating very limited hours and rolled out and set up by the pool area, I expect a crew member to be staffing and serving. In which case, the line to be served is very long and very minimal sized servings are dispensed. Worse than the Bacon Police!

I submitted for GE renewal two days ago and received email notification it was approved today. No interview needed.

Just a tip for everyone to help with the search or insurance claim. I like to take photos or videos of my luggage and contents just prior to packing.
Pictures of the luggage are invaluable when describing your luggage. Sometimes airport personnel (especially international) have a storage room for unclaimed luggage to which passengers may or may not be granted access.
I have multiple sets of luggage….so did I pack the blue Nautica with white trim or yellow trim, or maybe the black Samsonsite?

Several years ago there was also a report of a crew member hiding in the balcony and who assaulted a passenger while she was sleeping. Do not forget to check there also.
That one was horrible! He literally attacked her and tried to kill her! -

I'm guessing he was hiding under the bed in hopes of hearing some bouncy-bouncy-squeaky-squeaky above him. 🤪
Maybe hoping to hear unfiltered feedback of his daily service. -
A food diary can be helpful in pinpointing triggers. Educating yourselves makes selecting foods less stressful. Eating cleaner most of the time, regular exercise, and drinking water is healthy advice for most everyone.

I will be looking for reports of any menu changes. Do you really expect lobster roll sliders will remain complimentary? I don’t.

I enjoyed the Thrill Park once this past year because I won a day pass in an onboard raffle. The queues can be massive, limiting the number of rides you can achieve in one day. No way would it be worth $170 for me.

Well, that’s punch to the gut. My sympathies.

I just read an article which related passport processing times have improved, back to pre-pandemic levels.

That’s rather specific. Bad steak? Here, have a pedicure.
They offered a massage first, then the haircut. I declined both but requested a different room steward, which they were not amenable.- 1

The Do Not Disturb may not be enough. A cabin steward walked into my cabin while I was taking a shower. I queried later why he did not hear the shower running. His answer was he was eating a piece of candy. Yes, I reported the incident. No, Guest Services was not at all dismayed. They offered me a free haircut. I declined.

There is work going on at the Trastevere station: DA FS NEWS - RFI presenta il progetto di restyling della stazione di Roma Trastevere
For those going to Trastevere, there is bus service provided during construction.
Thank you. That helps me so much.Guess I will be learning the layout of another train station this year. Trastevere was so convenient with just a short walk through the tunnel over to the very next platform to board the connection to Civitavecchia.

You simply purchase a ticket to Civitavecchia. The change is not at Termini, generally the change will be at Roma Trastevere.
I don’t know if the train station to interchange is determined by season. But when I look now, Ostiense comes up rather than Trastevere. -

No way of knowing how "deep" they go behind the doors, but yes, they seem small.
I remember thinking the door to the brig was surprisingly narrow, too, at least on Horizon. As a fluffy cruiser, maybe I wouldn't fit through the doorway, so....wheee! I can act with carefree abandon onboard! 😄 (Nahh, I'd just be confined to quarters for the duration.)
Or they will get you in there with a shoehorn and a little Crisco. -
The room contains some square tables. Depending upon usage, the room can get very quickly filled to capacity

I’ll believe it when I see it. There is the customer base who books cruises well in advance. There is the customer base who books cruises onboard. There is the customer base who books cruises when they have an opening in their calendar.

IMO Ambassador status earns you one free 7-day cruise. Nice, but nothing else which registers for my ongoing cruise experience. They can throw bottles of wine or tastings in the ocean for all I care.

Not sure what you are asking. Travel insurance is not part of your regular medical insurance that you use at home like Aetna or Humana. Those entities absolutely have all your medical records.Comprehensive travel insurance covers both travel and health risks when you are away from home and provides additional benefits like evacuation and repatriation. They are underwritten by companies like Nationwide or Generali. When you submit a claim, they ask for documentation and records. You can deny access, but they can deny the claim for failure to provide information.
We have an annual travel insurance policy, so I am familiar with the claims process. -

Actually, no.We are talking about travel insurance, not your ordinary healthcare policy. They have a right to and will examine your medical records to determine if the claim is valid.
Read the list of exclusions to see what other activities you might want to avoid.
So you have travel insurance which excludes drinking, or excludes reimbursement if you were injured in conjunction with drinking alcohol?Further, you believe medical insurance companies do not have access to and read your medical records?

Thanks so much for the information about loungers on the promenade. Exactly the information I needed.
