I wasent even sure if the port was anywhere near the city/town we just wanted to have a general look around the square etc and get a feel for the place

We arrive in Venice early morning and our boat leaves at 5pm is the port near any sightseeing? Or how far away would it be and best way to get about the city for a sightseeing tour all help much appreciated

Hello hoping someone can help me with kids club info on vision of the seas at time of travel I will have a 3 & 5 year old does anyone know the times of the kids club? Is there a morning and afternoon session and can they go to both and do you register on board? All help much appreciated

Is there anything actually at these ports are they beside a beach shops or I'm I goin to have to pay a small fortune to do an excursion to the nearest beaches all help much appreciated

From experience it takes them 3/4 days to reply and even then they won't have answered ur question you go round in circles 😱

Hi all just got email confirmation Israel is understandably pulled off the cruise and is now going to Mykonos and kusadasi we are due to sail 28th September you are getting £50 each credit and if you want a free transfer to another cruise. What is everyone that is booked doing I think we are gonna stick with the cruise as ours is a cruise and stay package is anyone else changing and if so what too?

Ps glad I actually found out about changes as still waiting in them telling me about Egypt being pulled

Let's assume we are not going to Israel will they put on 1 or 2 ports as it was overnight and anyone have any ideas where we could be headed I'd love to see santorini anyone have any ideas where we might go?

I'm hoping if they pull Israel they let us know sooner rather than later so we can all decide if we want yo continue on the cruise where else would it go? My original cruise was names Egypt and the holylands dosnt look to promising at the minute... I'm keeping up on these forums because thomson forgot to inform me Egypt was off so worried I won't know of any changes until on board

I've also rung them but they really are useless in knowing anything they just said since it's not til September they would let me know.... But sure I was never informed about Egypt being taken off so hold little hope of finding out. My question is what happens in this case if it's not going yo Israel I have little interest in goin as my original cruise was called Egypt and the holylands where else would it go? Would you be entitled to a refund? Or transfer?

Yes I got the turkey visa via email but nothing about the port changes my mother booked on a seperate reference received nothing either you would imagine if I received one I should have received the port change but no the shop couldn't even give me a copy of the letter supposedly sent either.

Thanks for your update it seems thomsons think it's perfectly normal to make changed and not tell you about them! I know what you mean about the circumstances my original cruise was called Egypt and holylands and now may not be going to either unless it sorts itself out the first sailings to Ashdod are 1st September so will just see what happens wondering now what new posers they may add as Israel was a 2 day port any suggestions? Although honestly if prefer my money back or transfer to another holiday if that were the case although I know I'll have a fight on my hands

They've already given me onboard credit for Egypt being cancelled the ship is me at to dock in Israel for 2 days not sure where else it would go if it was cancelled surely u could at the very least transfer it to another holiday?

That is just crazy I rung thomson but they say there is no word on it and that it is still 2 months away yes I hope it gets sorted was really looking forward to seeing Israel

This sounds exactly like ours we were originally doing Egypt but was take off no letter no nothing they're customer services is terrible have little faith I will be told if we don't go to Israel either...

I have contacted them directly but got no answers only to wait and see what happens next although I doubt I'll even receive a letter to tell me if they do take it off. Dontthink I will be using thomsons to book in the future last time I had a thomsons cruise booked through Thomas Cook they kept me well informed of all changes etc

I was originally booked on the Egypt and holyland cruise leaving this year 28/9/14 with the upset in Egypt it was taken off ( thomson never bothered to send me a letter to notify me but that is another story) it then changed to aegan and holyland tour it now seems that Israel is in the news and looking a bit dodgy if Israel is pulled off also does anyone know if I'm entitled to a full refund as these were the 2 main ports I wished to visit. I'm just trying to think ahead also wondering if there are changed will thomson ever tell me had a bad experience and haven't even got onboard yet ..

Has this happened with anyone else would love to hear your experiences I've now paid in full and don't want to go on a cruise if it's not going were I had paid to go...

Hi just reading through these posts I never even thought about the formal night is there one aboard the celebration? I have 2 young kids so not sure they'd have the patience for all the waiting about. Do all men wear dj or can you wear trousers and a smart shirt?

Great info I'm happy to book one of my excursions onboard if this is the case really not happy at the lack of communication from thomson and find there reaponses very vague and don't seem to really care too much don't get me wrong I accept the situation and I'm happy with the new ports erc but would be nice to know beforehand. Anyone know can you buy perfume onboard the ship could possibly use credit for this also

Just paid off my holiday and went to book excursions for our trip to realise there is no Egypt port I contacted thomsons who told me I should have received a letter or email in October last year and that I have £50 cabin credit to spend. Quite annoyed that no one from thomson informed me of this did everyone else receive letters? Also can I use onboard credit for excursions? As I'm all inclusive with drinks package so not sure what else I'd use it for?

I spoke to the Kids Club girls this morning

1 year old need to be accompanied by you all time..

If you go out of school Hols they will arrange the 3 x 2hr sessions that they do round the kids that are there.

 

Today there was one girl in glub and she had 2 hostesses to herself.

Pools is pretty well closed of outide rails have 2 foot solid steel on bottom of rails.

There is childrens paddleing pool.

But never safe to leave them anywhere

Steel steps ect.

 

With kids Lido self service best get one off the stewards to help if its just you and two kids.

 

Do not know how they would take 2 kids running round.

Fantastic info everything I needed to know I knew it would only be my 3 yr load attending kids club sounds like she'll love it. You've definitely out my mind at ease about the railings etc round Pool will check out lido restaurant my husband and mother etc are going so I've plenty of helpers.
