  1. I know it is 4.50 a 12 pack. However drinking a gallon (sometimes more a day) that would be 4 12 packs or more just for myself, not including what my husband would drink. That is a lot of water to find space for in the room. So to save space and knowing I will be drinking some drinks I am trying to figure out which way would be better for us.

  2. Does anyone know the current price on the 500ml bottles of water on the ship? I drink at least a gallon of water a day and am trying to figure out if it would be more economical to purchase enough 12 packs before hand or just get the Cheers program since I planned on drinking a couple of drinks (at dinner and during shows) anyway. Thanks.

  3. We have been on the Sensation a total of 6 times, and absolutely love her. As someone else mentioned, the decor could use a redo (unless you absolutely love purple), but the staff are all fantastic and IMO the food was not bad. There were some things that were not all that great, but overall the food was good.

  4. Out of our 10 cruises, 6 have been on the Sensation (2 of the 10 on her sister ships, Fantasy and Fascination). OUr most recent was a back-2-back this past November. The ship is older, but still beautiful and I would get back on her in a heartbeat! The crew is always exceptional. You maybe a little overwhelmed at first being your first cruise, but in my opinion, the layout is very easy to get accustomed to and is perfect for a first timer.

  5. I was on board and in the Lido hot tub when it happened. Announcements were hard to hear. The hot tub was still running the entire time and the blenders were working after about 10 minutes. I remained at the hot tub with a few other cruisers and we kept on drinking & soaking the sun up. Our waiter Lovejoy told us: "I'm no worried, mon. I have ice, and the blenders are good. What do you want to drink?"

It wsn't Phillip Lovejoy from Jamaica, was it?

  6. Barbara, I have a totally different B2b question and based on your cruise history you look like the person who can answer this for me...I am cruising b2b in the same cabin 1/16&1/20. My question has to do with the approved beverages coming aboard. We are allowed to bring 12-20oz sodas and 1 bottle of wine pp aboard. When doing a B2B are we allowed to double that? 1 bottle of wine per cruise? Or do we have to leave the ship to bring on the supplies for our next leg? Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. -Christina

We just did a b2b2b on the Sensation last month. We brought our allotment for all three cruises, and just had our booking paperwork printed for each. When the sodas were 'flagged for inspection' (we had them in a rolling suitcase), I informed the guard that we were doing a b2b2b and had documentation to prove it if needed. He just inspected the packaging to make sure we had not attempted to tamper with it and sent us on our way.

  7. DH and I just got back from a b2b2b. We took 4 12pks of soda on. I had boarding passes with me in case anything was said. When they went through the xray machine (we had them in a rolling bag), security pulled us over to the side, and I immediately informed him that we had 4 12pks and we were doing a b2b2b, he just said ok and never asked to see the passes.

  8. On our cruise on Dream this past March, it was dh's birthday. I bought a roll of the crayola wonders sticky paper (think it is called wonder roll) and tore a few sheets off of it (to make a poster) and put it on our door. On it I wrote 'Help me wish my hubby Shane a happy birthday!' then hung one of the markers with it for people to write on. It helped us find our cabin easily and also became a momento from his birthday cruise, as many people signed it wishing him a happy bday (had to change it twice because it was full...lol). Although he complained about it at first, he ended up loving it. Everytime he opened the door, we had to stop and wait while he read any new messages on it.

Our next cruise we will be celebrating our anniversary in August, so I am thinking of doing the same thing.
