If I recall correctly from earlier this month, when you walk up to the front of the terminal, the VIP entrance is on the right. Once through security, you go to the right, towards the check-in counters, however instead of continuing straight, you go to the left for the VIP counters. After you get checked in and get your S&S card, you go in toward the waiting area. There will be several lines going through, but you go to the one on the right and they scan your card and confirm you are who you say you are and that line goes straight to the 'VIP' area which is in between the regular zone area and the embarkation walkway, standing in the area looking out the window at the ship, you are on the left.

When we went, they let the wedding party on, then called out with a microphone for Diamond/Platinum guests to board. We never actually heard them call for FTTF because as the Diamond/Platinum people started to wind down, the FTTF people just started lining up to go in, so we joined around the middle of the group.

We were FTTF on our Dream cruise 3-2-13. We got to the port around 10:30, were in the VIP waiting area by 10:45 (FTTF go through the VIP line that Platinum/Diamond guests uses). Probably would have been there sooner, but security had to shake our waters and check our 12 pack of soda to make sure it was legit. They loaded a wedding party about 10:55. By 11:10 we were standing in our room. We then went to eat lunch and tour the ship a little. Went back to the room about 1 and all of our luggage was sitting inside our room. We were unpacked, had our first drink with Cheers program and were sitting at the bar at the rear of the ship by 1:45.

We were once offered an upgrade from aft balcony to junior suite on Sensation. I told the guy I would have to talk to DH and call him back. I immediately went on carnival and did a mock booking and it was the exact same amount to upgrade (adding what we had already paid) as it was to book it, so I declined. After reading these posts, I am glad I did!

I am sure this has already been answered somewhere in these pages, but with a new grandbaby I am helping to take care of temporarily, I do not have time to look through all pages.

Can you please reccomend a nice hotel with park and cruise and shuttle that is on or at least within very close walking distance to beaches? We are going out of Ft Lauderdale in August, and have no clue on anything. We usually cruise out of Port Canaveral.

The monkey heads were everywhere on the Fantasy last week and yes, I succumbed and bought one. It's also a bank so I gave it to DD so she could save up for our next cruise.

 

It is so ugly it is cute...lol. I want one!! Hopefully they will have them on the Sensation next week.

Does anyone have a pic of the coconut or disco ball?

I got the whale tail on our cruise in February 2010. So I seem to be missing the disco ball, monkeyhead, and coconut? I figure the disco ball is probably to be gotten in the disco or club, what about the others?

Just wanting to see if anyone can tell me the latest and greatest DOD cups, and if the disco ball and monkey head are still available? I try to collect them all, and I got the blow fish last July, but did not find out about the other two until after I came back. We are leaving this weekend and I hope to capture the other two and any possible news that are out.

I just wanted to thank you sooooo much for this review... I have been thinking about taking my husband on this one next year for his b'day, but after many not so good reviews on here, I was unsure. However, after reading this and seeing your truly awesome photos.... I want to go now!!!!!
