Is there a Pets at Sea still on anthem? Thank you and GREAT review.

You are welcome. I am just an old girl scout...always be prepared, but hope
I don't need it.
We also love using our passport cards...so much more convenient, and wish
they would totally replace the books. Not sure why the books have to be
used on international flights versus the cards, but perhaps that will change
in the future also. :)
Agreed. My wife and I have books too, but we only got our daughter the card for the first time.

Good question. We always take both our passport books (which we use on
check in and then keep in the safe) PLUS our passport cards (that we use in ports).
Have never tried to board with just the passport cards. Would be interesting to hear
other experiences with that.
However, if a problem should come up in a port (and it does in some cases, but
hopefully won't have to ever experience that) you would need your passport book to
book an international flight back home.
We saw it as an option during online check in so we went with it. Thank you.:)

Passport cards are acceptable for US based closed end cruises.
Yes, Bayonne to Bermuda and back. Thank you clarea.

We'll be check in with set sail passes and passport cards, 2 adults and an infant. Is that okay?

Thank you. We will be on Anthem in July and appreciate this photo and video tour. It looks like you had a great time!

The caves are amazing, nice or rainy day.

July 9 cannot come soon enough.

Great people and island.
Strong people and island.
Stay safe Bermuda.

As bad as it was earlier...it just got even worse...via webcam.

Check out the caves.

As informal as I am, I love formal night(s).

Zero...windjammer, mdr and cafe are good for me.

We docked overnight in Bermuda in 2012 and will be doing it again next summer. I loved watching the shooting stars and the lit up island, listening to the island sounds and being slowly rocked to sleep.

On my last cruise I heard from a cabin steward that the new water sides on Harmony also double as actual cannons. This should give RC the advantage in the cruise ship war. If it had got the North Star, like they had wished, they would have the perfect viewing platform to spot their prey. RC should have no problem taking down the Disney Ships with their themed pirate night parties and Roman Candle fireworks.
If the other rumour of Captain Johnny being Harmony's captain are true, he is one step closer to getting that eye patch he has always wanted. After all, he already has the bird for his shoulder. ;)
Let the cruise ship war begin.
You just won the internet. :D
Hilarious post!!!

Seagulls dive-bombing the ocean for fish, then resurfacing.
Storms in the distance.
The first sight of Bermuda coming through the early am gray clouds on my first cruise.

That's one heck of a strong NJ send off! I hope everyone is and stays okay.

Our first and only two cruises so far were on Explorer: honeymoon 7/11 and 1st anniversary 8/12. We loved her and will miss her. 14 short days of great memories. We're looking for something on Grandeur in July '15 or '16.

where are all the people? In NJ there would be 100 or more out watching, LOL
They're smarter than us...except the guy who tried to ride Gonzalo out on his moored boat. Not surprisingly...it didn't stayed moored for long. Luckily, two police boats, I think, rescued him. Best of luck to the beautiful people of Bermuda and prayers to stay safe.

Good karma to the beautiful people of Bermuda. Stay safe and sound.
Big hurricane or not...the damage could be awful to a tiny island. The South Jersey shore was hit by Sandy two years ago and some areas are still trying to recover.

I've snorkeled in Bermuda twice, St. Maarten and St. Thomas. You cannot go wrong in either Bermuda or the Caribbean. Enjoy.

Mark, I just got off Anthem today and I feel similarly about the wait staff. They work so hard, are so patient and friendly and were AMAZING with my two year old daughter. I feel bad, guilty...and I should. They should not feel or seem to feel degraded. We went out of our way to treat them respectfully and like family. I hope and think they knew that our party of 14 really appreciated them. We got their email addresses and will certainly keep in contact with them. Clive, Jerry and Avishek were awesome.
Also, I went to a game show in 270 and ordered a dessert saying, "please." The waiter said that I was the only person all day to ask him and use please. What the h£ll world. I'm not all that wonderful, but my parent taught me well. Please, thank you and general manners and politeness go a long way when used.
Great crew and I cannot wait to see them again
