I thought non US ports you can do a covid test within 3 days of departure?
*Edit
Please ignore me I can see Greece has a 24 hour requirement. Glad we are going from Italy later in the year. One less thing to worry about on hols.

Thank Tina! I would love to read your review. I will look for it.

Sorry to hijack but since you have just been on the Grandiosa, could I ask a few questions.
What was your itinerary ? We are leaving from Civitavecchia, then Palermo, Malta, Barcelona, Marseille Genoa back to Rome
Was antigen acceptable for pre boarding test ?
Did you have to do a PLF ? and did you just the one listing all the ports ?
Masking requirements ?
Independent excursions ?
Passengers numbers ? Busy ? Lines and queues anywhere ?
Thanks
Hijack away friend! 🙂
I would also be interested if you used an Antigen test to board.

Hey there!
just returned from Marsaille and the Grandiosa. You can embark there as soon as 10 AM. Just go there and complete the check in. Cabin won’t be ready until about 2 PM though.
for disembarkation:
you have to be out of the cabin by 8 AM. That is also the time that the first people that disembark independently can go off.
should you be in a disembarkation group but would like to change to a different one, you can do that at guest service on the evening before. If you want to go independently the latest you can go is at 10 AM and you have to keep ALL of your luggage with you.
that was how it was for me yesterday.
hope I could help
greetings Tina
Thank Tina but I think the Seaside will be at little different as she doesn’t port until later. Our cruise documents say disembarkation will begin at 12pm midday.
-
Following with interest. I’m so glad the $1800 issue was rectified before you boarded and very much hope you can enjoy your cruise to the fullest.
-
Hi everyone,
Does anyone have an embarkation time in Marseille for the Seaside next month?
Our disembarkation is saying midday. That seems really late? We will be asked to vacate the room early?
TIA.

It does not matter wether your booster was within the last 9 months.
9 months only apply to the initial vaccination without a booster.
But if for example your first two vaccines were a year ago but you’ve had a booster, you are fine. -
I’m so confused (it doesn’t take a lot.)
Am I right I’m reading from all this that it doesn’t matter when I had the initial 2 shots as long as I’ve had my booster within the last 9 months and more than 14 days before departure?

The weird thing is I can never get the U.K. website to price up with a CAS discount even after I enter my number. I always have to call.

Thank you for this great info. I’ll give them a call when my status changes.

Hi all,
Does the CAS Balcony discount increase with tier? The reason I ask as I have just completed a cruise that moved me to Emerald however the points have not been credited yet and I am still showing Platinum. I booked a cruise for 2022 today and wonder if the system still classed me as Platinum for the discount and if that matters.
Warm wishes. -

You can still do just the test at the port, however, if you test positive at the port and need quarantine, not having done an additional test within 72 hours means that NCL will not help cover quarantine expenses, which they would do if you had taken another test before.
Ah ok that makes sense. Thank you.
Happy about Italy dropping the quarantine. Hopefully this will mean we can go exploring.

It is recommended by NCL but also their t&c says that if you test positive at the port they will only cover costs (over what your insurance will cover) if you also have an official negative test from within the last 7 year hours. Antigen or PCR but not a home test kit
So confusing. When I booked the gent on the phone said we only need the test at the port. 🤦🏽♀️ I guess things are changing daily.
-
Do we have to do an additional test to the one NCL give us at the port?
-
Hello everyone,
It’s been a hot minute since we’ve cruised NCL and I’ve completely forgotten all their rules and policies etc. If anyone can help with some questions I’d be most grateful.
If there is a price drop after booking do they honour it like some other lines?
Can anyone help with Family Inside Cabin recommendations for the Jade? It says they range from 13sq to 26sq. We’d obviously like a bigger one but I have no idea how I determine that from the deck plans.
How many cruise next certificates can I use at the moment per booking?
TIA for any help.

Working now for me in the U.K. 👍🏻

Still not working for me either.

Thanks for posting. Thought it was just me.

I only had one bid so it was always pending until the little header changed from “pending” to “upgraded”, but a few others did experience the situation of only one bid left pending while the rest expired, and got confirmed for the pending cabin category.
This is what I’m hoping for too. 🤞🏼-

We were in a GS, bid $260pp and got an OS. Probably could have bid less, but within the group I’m aware of, we were the first to get it, and got the hump cabin, so I’m thrilled
That’s amazing! So happy for you. Enjoy every moment and thank you for sharing.
One last question, did you notice if your other bids (if you made any) went to expired and the one you received stayed pending?

So happy - got our Royal Up email this morning, and hearing lots of reports from others on my sailing (AOS 8/21) that they are getting emails as well. Several GS to OS, Jr to GS, etc — and minimum bids seem to be enough. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting 🙂
Would you be willing to share details of what you bid, which category from and which category now? Thanks.
-
I bid on 6 different suite types and noticed on Monday that all but one had been marked “expired.”
The remaining one shows “pending.”
I cannot select or alter my bids on any of them at all.
I got excited thinking my bid was being processed but 3 days on, nothing at all. No email or card charge. So I guess it means nothing other than all but one of my bids have not been accepted. -

Just over the minimum bid at £500
Per person? For a 6 night? What an absolute bargain! Enjoy every moment.

Yes
the concierge can also cancel your packages on board in that case. It is also refundable OBC which means if its not spent it will get refunded to your card the last day
Fantastic thank you!

Hi! Great start, thanks for “taking us along.” Can I ask what your winning bid was for the Haven?
