  1. Thank you all for answering. I think I just needed to talk about it since carnival didn't care. In the past I always booked myself. After covid I had a really good PVP that helped with that mess. She got a promotion and I was assigned someone new. I'm not new to cruising but I don't go often.
  2. She said we had the rooms with the door that opens in the middle. Then said we were all next to each other. After checking in and someone mentioned the site to see the room locations is when I had my son send me his information. Something I should have done right after booking. Lol my husband was a little scared when he found out the door would go to strangers room. He thought for some reason the workers would unlock the door. It was his second cruise but he should still know that wouldn't happen.
  3. Yeah someone in our Facebook group mentioned a site to see where our rooms were. When I looked I was like 😬 they wasn't put in the room with the connecting door.
  4. Before, I guess because it was the Celebration it filled up super fast. I tried to solve it then but they said they had no rooms closer to us. I put it in the survey . I got an email days saying sorry that happened to you but you all got emails with your room numbers. I said yes but I never asked for my son or niece to send me their emails. I trusted the PVP.
  5. I could see the names of everyone in our party. I couldn't see the room numbers from my manager and then emails went to the other people. We did a group call. I booked my room told her we needed 3 rooms right next to each other, then had my talk and give his bank info then had my niece talk and give the card info for her room. Each time we all gave the emails linked to our online accounts.
  6. That's good that there were able to get you switched. I remember when that happened. It was all over the Facebook groups.
  7. No we got our rooms numbers. I didn't ask them to send me a copy of their emails. I just went by what she said on the phone. We did it as a group call.

  9. When we talked to a manager they said we could be up to 3 doors away. It was just no more rooms near us to put them 3 doors away. That's why they ended up having to switch the names.
  10. Thanks for the advice. We are looking into doing a NCL. It will be our first time with them.
  11. I only got the emails for my room. I should have had everyone send me their emails. We booked with the same person but did it together in one call so we knew we were together. The room number was off by one digit. They should have been in 5380 and they were in 5480.
  12. Honestly, I thought about that but I was too scared to try. I thought we would get stopped or something.
  13. I don't know if they changed the site but this time I couldn't see the other numbers from cruise manager. I couldn't even check in for all the rooms this time. It only had the names listed.
  14. We were on the Celebration last month. We booked back in February of last using a PVP. I told her that I was bringing my infant and needed all of our rooms next to each other. She booked us and told us we our rooms was next door with a connecting door. I put my infant in a room with my 20 year old because of the kind of offer we had. After checking in I found out the boys were 20 rooms down. Carnival switched my husband with my infant. This caused my husband to lose the cheers package with our offer. Carnival said they couldn't do anything to fix him losing the package. They couldn't even give a discount. The reason is because we knew our room numbers because they emailed them to us. I felt since the PVP booked us I should have had to check everyone's emails to make sure she did what she said. We had 3 rooms total but none ended up being where she said.
