I wasn't doubting that it was officiall, I just didn't want to start a thread, until I could add the press release attached to it.
I didn't say you doubted it. I was just confirming what you said and letting everyone else know it's official. Sorry.

Empress will be going to Bayonne and Quebec City next year.I see Bermuda cruises with stops in Hamilton and St George in May, June, July and August 2020 sailing dates. Im also seeing a nice Repo cruise from Quebec to Miami Oct 2020 when she resumes her Miami cruises.. 10 and 11 night Canadian cruises are also on the schedule.
They are currently loading the schedules and the site is more temperamental than usual. I was going to make this a separate page, but probably best to wait until the official press release later this morning with all the info.
The itineraries and prices are loaded in Espresso so it's official.

Hey Jeff, did they replace the seats in the upper levels of the Taj Mahal? They look new since my last cruise on Pride. Maybe they just cleaned them up. Thanks for the review. Hope all goes well with the hip.

Voom is so doom! No Periscoping at all. Also, it’s a mission to even get my Instagram stories up, so I haven’t been uploading here. I will probably just post a bunch of stuff when I get back to Miami.
Try restarting your phone. It worked for me last week on Mariner but then I hardly scoped much after that.

Having actually lived and listen to the music in the 70s, you can't define the entire decade. Lots of good classic rock through the decade, but people only remember the birth of disco at the end.
Unfortunately cruise lines perpetuate the myth that '70s music was nothing but Disco by playing nothing but Disco during their '70s party. There was probably more great music in that decade than any other.

Am I missing the icon to join in?
Those are the instructions if you're on a PC. There's a box to the right with the cruise critic logo, the cruise line logo and the yellow button. If you're on an iPhone scroll past the posts. You should see a yellow button marked Join the Party.

They do have lockers over by the dolphin pens.
-
I thought they were paying guests the $79 to watch CATS!;)
They couldn't pay me to sit through Cats.

On your recent ‘scope I said I couldn’t find your review. I found it.:)
-
Yes Mariner has them.

I was on the June,15 AD cruise. The pools were packed on sea days, even the solarium. The chair hogs were ridiculous and there was no enforcement of the seat saving policy.
-
Empress of the Seas was still sailing from Philly in August 2006.

They have a big ad in my newspaper every day.
What's a newspaper?

Hope Radio doesn’t mind if I jump in here as we’ve been to both places
Chankanaab is less beach day than park. We did see the sea lion show and watched the swim with the dolphin folks. There is a restaurant and bar, but IIRC, there was no food or drink included in your admission.
Nachi Cocum is an all inclusive; no shows, but all food and drinks are included. They admit only 100 people per day. It was nice, but we don’t drink enough to make it cost effective.
Sent from my iPad using Forums
Nachi is up to 130 guests now.

I was just told by NCL rep that everyone boarding the Sun which stops in Cuba must purchase a $75 visa regardless of whether they get off the ship or not. Anyone else heard this?
Yes.
-
Yes! They came out of a large box that said “clean bonnets”.
That’s a relief, thanks.
-
Do they wash those bonnets between riders? I wouldn’t want to wear one that someone with a cold just took off.
-
To me, the lure of a private island is a minimally disturbed beach day, not a trip to a theme park.
Exactly.

For clarification...
On Adventure...... is the "Starbucks" coffee (and other drinks) at the Cafe Promenade INCLUDED in the ultimate beverage package?
Circle one:
yes or no
:):D
The answer in post #2 is still correct. The Starbucks served at Cafe Promenade is included.

I’m curious, when you order the night before do you have to tell them what time you want them for breakfast, or can you just show up and get them made fresh when you arrive? I have a 4 year old with Celiac who loves GF pancakes so I’m particularly interested in this for our upcoming cruise on Oasis.
Also, did you notice if GF waffles are available on Oasis?
Thanks in advance for any input!
You don’t have to tell them what time, just tell your server you have a special order. Also tell them you want everything to come out at the same time or else the GF meal will be the last to arrive. They couldn’t do gf waffles but they could do pancakes, chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes and french toast.
On oasis last month and Freedom in January 2017 Sorrento’s would add any gf topping you wanted. My daughter prefers pepperoni. She’s the one with Celiac Disease.

We have never had a problem getting gluten free pancakes as long as it's ordered the night before. On our Oasis cruise in January they had two different GF breads available. The raisin bread was actually not awful. GF hamburger buns are available also. Cafe Promenade had pre-packaged Udi's cookies. They weren't on display. We had to ask.
-
I asked the same question to RC this week (sailing Allure in 3 months), response below:
Hello,
Thank you for sharing information regarding your gluten allergy.
Gluten free items are noted on our Main Dining Room menus.
Please meet with the Head Waiter in the Main Dining Room and Restaurant Managers at other dining venues to review the menus and identify selections you wish to have modified or avoided.
All items prepared for guests with food allergies are handled separate from the main food production.
When the guests eat in the Windjammer, please ask for a manager so they can arrange to get a meal from the galley. This will avoid any cross contamination that may occur at the buffet.
You can bring dry, nonperishable food items such as cookies, crackers, chips, energy bars, etc. You may also bring your own individual packets of salad dressings. However, you may not bring onboard perishable food (items that require refrigeration, freezing, and/or reheating).
Best regards,
That's the same canned response I got.

I was booked on Vision from N.O. March 16, 2019. That cruise has been cancelled. I rebooked another cruise and got $100 obc for the inconvience

On the Magic for two weeks and we never got around to eating there. Guess we'll have to try it next time.
Too bad you didn't get to try Pig & Anchor. You missed the best food on the ship.
Where are the Filipino bands so loved prior to the 2.0 "upgrade??
