Sorry, this isn’t anything new. This is how it has been for a while. The only difference is that there is now a lounge for a few days. We have cruised with Celebrity twice in the last year and this is nothing new.

I always pay mine in full the day I book the cruise. Im funny that way!
Then I got pay of my credit card the same day!

That's what I told her....it was her responsibility. We have done many cruises with her before and she said that has always been what she has done. They have always sent her the email requesting payment. I think something happened with her computer and her email account or something, we did check with RCCL and they said they did send her final notice...she claims she never got them. I'm sure she learned a valuable lesson.
I guess that is why I pay mine in full as soon as I book it

I don't know why Royal changed this process, they way they are doing it now it just means they have to deal now on the ship with the positive cases. What a hassle for them and you.
We did B2b on Harmony April 25 And May 1st sailing, they tested us the day before our for May 1st sailing
Now 10 days later after getting back, Husband daughter and myself have Covid

We did a B2B on our first cruise as Diamond. Didn't turn Diamond till the second leg, but we got our Diamond status after we cruise the first leg.

I know this can't be true but heard from a friend who had a friend who when on a cruise lately that they had to get tested for covid after every port and it cost them $150. No way is this going on!!
