Would you mind telling us how much the helicopter tour was and if it was a ship excursion or booked elsewhere?  Thank you loving the review and pics

Yes, but even the difference in rate when I checked was only about 150 and all the freebies made the difference. Thank you for your reply

1) if you or DH are active, retired or veteran - send a copy of docs (DD214) to Princess & receive up to $250 OBC (depending on length of cruise). Google is your friend for the full info.

2) if you own Carnival stock (good time to buy) - 100 shares qaulifies for same OBC. Google is your friend.

Good morning All.  Dh is going to be 62 and uses a scooter and I am 48.  I saw a good sale $1 deposit free beverage package, free internet $50 pp obc and tips all included. I ended up with an inside because of the scooter and needing an accessible cabin.  We have cruised carnival, royal, and Ncl.  Long ago I did Disney with the kids.  So first question is we are just about a year out when do excursions show in the princess site?  Next I thought since we have cruised Carnival that we get credit for those days on princess if this is so what do I need to do and I’m sure there are a lot more.  I’m just too excited to think and have not told hubby yet lol maybe I won’t.  We do a lot of Galveston trips for medical.  

In dollars that would be just under $1850 for us Americans great start to the review

Yes when you hit diamond until a few weeks ago I was excited thinking I’d get 4 for the week lol until someone nicely corrected me.  We will hit diamond on liberty of the seas on our week 1 of our b2b this week

I’m sorry you didn’t get the same deal but I will board liberty on Sunday for 2 weeks and went from an inside to an ov for no extra oop then what I paid for our cruises on Adventure I am happy for those that didn’t cancel that they still get their trip

Look on your local Craigslist.org or facebook marketplace I was able to get my husband a nice travel scooter for 50 more than the rental for our b2b in November.  You won’t regret having one of your own it will allow you so much more freedom even after back home from cruise

Yes they did tell me it was cancelled so they did a lift and shift but others have heard since it is not so we shall see however I will not be there

Yes the 12th was cancelled as they offered us a free new cruise or a full refund 

Ok guys I have done something awesome… or Royal has so originally I had booked a 4 day and 5 day cruise using our FCC leaving a balance for both weeks of 229 for week 1 and 359 for week 2.  Paid that and we were all set.  Until I went online to go do our check in and found out our week 1 had been cancelled. What…. So I called Royal.  They told me week 2 was cancelled as well… great.  So I asked him what to do next and he said we could get a full refund or we could pick a new cruise so I asked the question does it have to be the same day count or a certain dollar amount and the answer was no… so I took a 4 and 5 day and was able to get 2.  7 day cruises and we had an inside on the original cruises on the 7 days we have ocean views so free days and a free upgrade… I feel awesome now I have to pack I have a b2b in 20 days

Yes they did but we took advantage of the lift and shift and for the same money end up b2b on Los for 14 days.  So keep in mind everyone that your lift and shift can be any sailing regardless of days they cover the difference from what you paid to the new cruise 

I am on phone with them currently we were booked 11/8 and 11/12 b2b they upgraded to liberty same room cat no extra oop money.  

Beachfront palms has parking and offers the shuttle for a fee.  I love Gaidos am actually here now for sons medical but did rebook at beachfront for the cruise

We wouldn’t object to the Port Parking lot. I checked it out and seems to have competitive pricing.  We are doing B2B in November.  I assume we just make 2 reservations, one for each trip? No need to tell them we won’t pick up car after first cruise has ended?  We usually use the Galveston Park N Cruise, but they don’t have parking for Adventure of the Seas cruises.

When you test for cruise is it out of pocket or does your insurance cover it sorry we just booked so trying to cross off all my questions

So things are better with Davis after the skin graft was done things are healing much better.  Ohhh and ya got me I finished your review and the next day mysteriously like we really don’t know where they came from 2 fcc’s popped into my email so I found a great rate on royal I know it’s not the Dream but at least it’s a cruise so the husband and I are gonna take a needed break and will sail on adventure 11/8… yippee I got to go formal shopping today.  Hope all is well with you

Thank you.  We are finally seeing relief and possibly a way home for more than a few days at a time… but yes I think Sunflower will be a break I need but maybe Friday so I can take and go watch the ships in port.  

Thank you so much for the review…. I’ve been daydreaming of cruising in vivid color since as I type this I am sitting at the hospital on the island with my 24 yr old admitted.  As soon as life settles we will be booking but for today I moved from 130 days away from the dream to 864 days but I’m sure she will be worth the wait and maybe tomorrow I will venture to Sunflower for a change from all this hospital food…. 

Just booked so our next cruise will be in 734 days.   Kinda nervous it’s our first cruise since we cruised to spread our 18 year olds ashes in dec 2017.  Alex had been on 24 cruises in his short life and loved every one of them
