  1. Is anyone else having trouble getting into their booking? I have tried for 3 days to manage my booking. I am trying to look at excursions. I can sign into the booking, but get an error message when I try to access it. I called Oceania, and was told to write to the webmaster, which I did. I know they sometimes read these threads. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. It is only with Oceania, not a problem with any other of my cruise line bookings. :(

  2. This will be our second Regent cruise (although we won't take the first until April). The excursions are now available (today) for our cruise in September, but some that are on the generic web list are not on the list which we reserve from, such as the chef market tours.

Are these already reserved or have they just not been posted yet? We are in a PH cabin—if that makes any difference. Thanks.

  3. The Lima Tour was interesting, Convent of San Francisco, tour of Convent and catacombs, then on to the main square, followed by a gourmet lunch. A ceviche demonstration and than a buffet of Peruvian dishes that were fabulous. We also had a guided tour of the Pachacamac ruins and followed by a visit to the Inca Market and the Larco Museum. On to the airport to collapse in the lounge and sleep on the plane.

On the second trip, we were in Lima overnight. We went to the Larco Museum for lunch and a private tour of the museum. Then to dinner and the airport.

I felt we did too much on the first trip (It was organized by one of the other couples). Recommend you see the city in the morning and go to the Larco after lunch.

  4. We have used Integrity Tourism & Transportation on 2 separate trips in 2014. The first time was after an Oceania Easter Island cruise, and we did a tour with 4 other couples and then were dropped at the airport for late flights home.

The second time we used them more for transportation rather than a tour.

They are terrific and I highly recommend them. Susan

It is necessary to get a shuttle (Oceania provided) to get through the port to the gate to meet them. It takes a while (long lines to get on the bus and out of the port).

  5. Some but not all excursions are posted for my upcoming cruise. Is it necessary to book all the excursions at once to get the Your World Collections discount? I don't think I would use the Unlimited Passport Collection flat rate. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks for any help—usually do private tours.

  6. Café Matisse. Although it serves Italian food, not French. We have been there for both lunch and dinner. I now hesitate to recommend it, having once told a couple about it in the Concierge Club, and having him show up for lunch in a tank top (the nice description).

Many of the people that lunch there look to be working professionals and they are nicely dressed. It is walking distance from the ship, close to the Police station on Bank Lane.

  7. I have NOT requested that my name be removed from Oceania's mailing list. I used to get the small brochures as well as the larger brochures. As a retired art director, it was interesting to see some of those covers that occasionally had a fifth spot color, as well as both dull and gloss varnish (extra drying time is needed between press runs). I miss them. I requested a catalog online, got it, and nothing since. I have an Oceania cruise booked for July.

I also have a Regent cruise booked, and now get small Regent mailers almost every day. I guess they want me to move to Regent.

  8. The ship turned around and sailed between the North and South part of NZ. Just making the point that I realize that changes do happen. It was simply my reaction to the man who has all the answers suggesting that I stay home. :D

  9. Missed Milford sound dues to conditions a year ago, not an easy one to make up. Also missed getting close to Hubbard Glacier on one cruise to Alaska. Have missed 3 or 4 ports due to weather. We did get in to the Falklands which I understand is hit or miss, more often miss.

I am complaining about putting out schedules and changing to what looks like a cheaper port a few months later. I don't think Oceania did this when we first started sailing with them. It seems to be happening with increasing frequency. Just an observation.

I don't think that I have ever chosen an itinerary for just one port.

  10. Having planned to go to the San Diego Zoo on the Panama Canal cruise, I decided I would do that later after they changed the port to Catalina. I moved my reservation to a cruise to Iceland. Today, they changed the Isafjordur port to Grundarfjordur which is half way between Isafjordur and Reykjavik due to port congestion. I suspect it's because it's closer to Reykjavik. I don't notice other lines making so many itinerary changes. Are they just trying to cut costs or are they last in line to get ports? :(

  11. Thanks Merinsky, looking for table for 8 so the diagram is helpful, even though there aren't table numbers. Shipmate deck plan for Deck 9, doesn't match Celebrity deck plan. See cabins 9297and 9370.

  12. What times are the Traditional Dining seatings in the main dining room? I am guessing 5:30 and 8:30, but I can't find the information on the web site.

Also is there a map of each dining level posted somewhere?

Silhouette in the Western Caribbean in March, Thanks.
