  1. Most overnight stays, at aOcean Cay, typically leave around noon. Our cruise does not leave until 4:00 in the afternoon the second day.

How active will the island be with this later departure?

  2. I am not mixed on this at all. You Tubers (Content Creators?) have no rights on a cruise ship unless they somehow get permission prior to filming. If they somehow get permission from the cruise line, then I would raise holy hell at the invasion of my privacy.

I recently booked the Viva out of San Juan for February ‘25. While booking it says the Vibe is “too soon to book” and come back 120 days out. The only offering is a cabana rental. Is this a new policy? A glitch? Or does this mean the Vibe is already sold out 11 months in advance?

Did you contact NCL? Or just come here?

  4. Can someone tell me what the lockers cost at Taino Bay? And how do you pay for them? Are they "coin" operated? Or do you pay a vendor and receive some sort of key?

No, I experienced it this past October when I hosted the CC M&G on the Dawn.  I'm not sure about how it works on ships with a Haven restaurant, but you probably are correct about that.

...and what exactly did you receive with your "VIP" status?

I have seen in the past where people who organize the meet and greets are given VIP status by the cruiseline. This allowed them to have similar privileges as suite guests such as lunch in Cagney's and breakfast in Modernaro.

This type of VIP status went away a few years ago.  It also never existed on ships with a proper Haven restaurant.

it was open for a buffet style breakfast on the getaway about a month ago.

very limited options, but they were open.

It wasn't on the Joy back in November.

I have found the pricing the same as you could get thru your TA or online booking sites. The main benefits seem to be some additional OBC which you can keep if you move booking to a TA and more relaxed cancellation rules for your deposit

...also multiple options to make changes at no charge.   But, NO changes on cancellation policy for deposits on YC cabins.

You guys are so patient with that company. I gave them one month to refund, and placed disputes. Of course, won and already got all my money back.

The owners are among the richest in the world. You certainly do not need to wait that long for a refund. If it's June, very soon your card won't accept a dispute anymore. Act, or you might not see this money.

It's clear to me this is done on purpose, part of the business. Minimum they get is interest, if not the whole amount. Maybe you are also very rich and don't care about that amount very much.

Yep, the interest on the few thousand dollars you are owed is going make such a huge impact on their balance sheet

So if you order a Big Mac and a Quarter pounder from the M devil, you pay for both meals, right ????

I am sure that if you ordered a meal you did not like, they will bring you a second choice no charge.

And yeah, have a walk to the buffet if you need more.

Thank you so much for the brilliant insights.
