This video has a bit of info at about 8:52.
Thanks for this. This is exactly what I was looking for.

The map for Hideaway Beach includes Sweet ting in da can which has the description of "Recharge with canned beverages just steps from the beach" what do they serve here? I assume beer but are there also soda available on the refreshment package? Does anyone have pics or a menu? I haven't been able to much about it online.

Thanks everyone. I called them up and they were able to provide the booking code which let me find out what was included. Most of the casino offers I've gotten don't include a DOU card, but I thought I remembered that this one did. I normally only bet on the pop-a-matic craps bubble so I'm shocked they'd offer me free drinks but I'll take it. I may gamble a bit more at the video poker at the bar.

I booked a cruise for September. I believe I booked it under a casino rate, and I believe the rate included drinks on us. Is there anyway to see what rate code the cruise was booked under and then to see what that rate code included?
-
I booked a casino rate, but rate didn't say that it included Drinks on Us (only $50 on board credit). I assume this means that there's no drinks on board card coming..

Thanks for posting all the pictures. This was really helpful.

We have an angled balcony booked for the Nov. 3/18 Panama Canal Cruise :) Thought a little extra balcony space might be nice.

Please take pics of the view!

I was looking at the pictures and the deck plans. Will the cabins on the back diagonal (like 14868) have a view directly aft?

Just curious... When is/was final payment due?
We booked over the weekend for March 2019 and final payment is Dec 31st 2019. But they seemed to imply that we could move it back if we needed to.

I wasn't a fan of the layout of the Triumph overall. In addition there was a strong garbage smell from the aft elevators for most of the cruise. I'll likely stick to the Spirit and the Dream class ships.

Thanks for the replies!

We're cruising on the Triumph on February 18th. One of our travel companions is really interested in the musicians(bands, pianos, duets, one man bands, Kazoo wunderkinds) that are onboard. Does anyone recently off of the Triumph know what musicians are playing?

In case anyone else in the future is curious.
I took pictures of the Viking Daily for my Danube Waltz cruise. Our docking and undocking times are on there.

Good luck! When I tried that they pointed me to the website which is fairly general and at least in the case of our cruise, inaccurate.
Yep. They sent me a PDF that had a tiny bit more detail than the website but not much. Well I'll be on the boat soon and will just need to wing it.
-
Thanks for all of the replies.
Just call Viking River cruises and they can email you a possible schedule. You have to realize it can change due to traffic on the river and the river. It is a tentative schedule but was glad to get the information.I haven't thought of that. I'll do it tomorrow.

Later this month we're doing the Viking Danube Waltz from Budapest to Passau. But we can't seem to find any schedule more detailed than the one here. I know some of the stops are all day and some are evening only. I'd like to be able to plan a bit more on what to do in town but that's hard without an actual arrival/departure schedule.
Is there a site that I'm missing with this information?

Thanks for the replies. Sadly it sounds like I'll need to find a new place to hang out.

One of my favorite things to do on a carnival ship is to curl up and read in the big circular loungers or the nice wide woven chairs in serenity. It looks like Triumph doesn't have a serenity area. Any chance that those comfy outdoor chairs are on the ship and just hiding on another outdoor deck? Reading on the blue loungers just isn't as comfortable.
-
In the past I've used carnival's luggage express but it doesn't look like it is available for the Dream.
Is there an alternate service? We have a 5pm flights and would rather not drag our bags around all day.
-
Thanks. I am not normally one who has to be first on the ship, I just want to figure out what to do from the time we land (7:30 am) till 11 or 12.
My husband and I are also normally there at the port crazy early. Last year we were able to drop off our luggage around 9 but they didn't open up the cruise terminal to check people in until about 9:30. We weren't on the boat till 11:30 or so (and we had FttF).
There is nothing walkable from the port (and the building itself is pretty bland) so if you aren't a "got to get on the ship ASAP" person I'd find another way to entertain yourselves for a bit. You could also look at taking the light rail to the inner harbor and taking a taxi from there.

Before my question I would like to point out that I AM legal drinking age and am not asking for your opinion into my morals or character. That being said my question is this...
Can you use cruise cash or any other program where how many drinks you buy comes on a separate statement from your sign and sail account. My husband thinks that I "partake" too much and I really don't want to be arguing with him about this and neither of us enjoy our cruise. He is very OCD and I am sure that he will be examining the account daily and would rather he not be keeping a tally on me. :D
If you really want to hide your drinking from your husband you could have two totally separate on board accounts going to two separate credit cards.

I saw our Cruise Director call the Cruise Director on another ship during the morning show so I figured I'd see if it was possible. I figured the answer would be no but I had to ask.
Thanks Everyone!

We're going to be on the Pride the same time as friends of ours will be on the miracle.
Is it possible to call from one ship to another without paying a fee?

You can get a fountain soda at any bar. No need to carry around the souvenir cup.
Great! Thanks for the quick reply. My DH gets a bit seasick and needs some ginger ale now and then. Hopefully he'll be able to get that.
Norfolk,VA walk to port?
in East Coast Departures

I walked it in the past from the Courtyard Norfolk Downtown. Your walk should be fine.
We found a good cruise parking deal at the courtyard which is why we walked.
