Did you notice any issues with the speed limitation/propulsion issue at all?

My online travel agent said the internet minutes and OCB will not appear in the documents but that I could use the email from them stating that I have those perks as my proof/documentation. But this is what is getting me worried. I don't want to find out when we are onboard that they don't have it on record and can't do anything about it. We have made final payment (our cruise is on Silhouette next month).

Do any of your documents indicate whether you have these perks? We are sailing in August and are to get free internet minutes for 3rd and 4th passengers plus $300 OCB from TA but our reservation on MyCelebrity and our Guest Ticket Booklet only show the beverage package in onboard confirmation. With issues I have read with Celebrity guest services onboard, I'm worried we are not going to get these perks once we leave for our trip. :eek::eek:

Is there a specific reason why you would choose Bermuda? Are you local and can go straight to ship without getting on a plane? Reason I ask is the Atlantic tends to be really rough and choppy. For his first cruise at that age I would say that is another factor to consider. But regardless, I think it's a really nice thing to do!

I have the same issue with My Celebrity showing the drink package but not the internet from the 123 promo. When do we get the sea pass? I want to make sure everything is sorted out before we board.

We ended up renting a Fiat that seats 7 from Corfu Sunrise. I assumed with the lack of response there weren't very many tours that accomodated more than 4. I'm excited to do so Corfu on our own.

In Corfu town I read that there are public parking garages/lots where you pay a fee like 5euros. Were these lots full when you were there?

I think I have mapped out the following stops for our road trip:

>Dock to Palaiokastritsas and Lakones (how much time should we a lot for this stop - there seems to be a lot to do here. Would 2 hours be enough including a quick stop at the beach?)

>Palaiokastritsas to Pelekas

>Pelekas to Corfu Town

>Back to ship

I hope we can do it all in 6 hours!!

From Manhattan to Cape Liberty is about 30 minutes with traffic.

You must mean withOUT traffic!!! I can assure you as I live in Manhattan, it can take that long just getting through the tunnel. Good thing June 15 is a Sunday there should be less traffic in the city in general.

Going to LGA, I would recommend you give yourself at least 1.5 hrs traveling time. You have to cross over Manhattan to get there and again, depending on the day, you could hit traffic. We always check google maps app for traffic conditions in Manhattan...they are pretty accurate.

Also, how long was the drive to each town?

Hi, we booked a car with Corfu Sunrise for our day in Corfu. We are there a short time in August 1:30-8:30pm. Was wondering for those who drove around, could you share your itinerary or points of interests. We would love to see panoramic views as well as trying out a beach. Also interested in knowing if we could hit all the "must see" spots during that short time.

Dear Dubrovniktravelady, first of all thank you for making yourself available to travellers on this board. I read the last 10 pages and found some really great information. We will be there Monday, Aug 18 12-8pm. Based on what I have read here and since we are arriving at high noon, I think we will do the following the cable car first then walk the wall. My question is how much kunas do you think we will need? I would like to pay credit card wherever possible. We are a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) and will need local currency for the following:

2 Taxis to town

Cable car for 4 adults 2 kids

Wall entrance fee for 4 adults 2 kids - credit card??

Quick local lunch/snack

Gelato

Dinner - credit card

2 Taxis back to port

Thought of another question...I'm thinking we should have our quick lunch outside the wall...can anyone suggest a place to eat or a good website to search. We want something quick and nothing fancy but good local food.

Hi, we will be in Mykonos from 7am to 4pm. I'm thinking of doing Delos and Mykonos town (windmills and little Italy) based on the information I read here and people's recommendations. But what isn't clear to me is how do we get to Delos and how much time should I allocate here versus Mykonos town. Is Delos easy to tour on our own - all walkable? Appreciate any advice!!

Hi everyone, we will be in Corfu as one of our ports on our August Mediterranean cruise with Celebrity. Reading the wealth of information on this forum, I contacted Corfu Taxi Tours for a tour of Corfu. Unfortunately Spiros has indicated they only have cars that fit 4 people. We are a group of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) and Spiros said we would need to get 2 cars at 200 euros each.

Are there other reputable tour companies that accomodate 6 people in one car? Or is DIY our only option?

Does Celebrity do afternoon tea with pastries and finger sandwiches? Carnival had afternoon tea on sea days in the MDR. It was a nice touch and my daughter and I enjoyed it as our time together

The kids like restaurants and aren't picky but aren't too adventurous either...I'm sure they will enjoy Qsine since you and Cruiseaholic suggested the same thing. We do have a balcony port side so you have me very excited for the sail away! Is ice cream at Cafe Bacio free or are they the for fee "gelatos" - is there free ice cream on board???
