Just got an amazing deal on the May 7, 2017 Scandinavia/Russia cruise!!!
Concierge Class 3 cabins with one perk at $1365 Canadian per person! About $3300 Canadian in total. With Captain's Club was able to get a Concierge2 on the hump on deck 9. If tried to book that directly it was $7,900.
Glad I took a wander through the website today! :D
Hi Amcco,
thanks for posting your amazing find! I was already booked on this cruise in a 2B cabin with 2 perks with a total cost of nearly $7K CAD.
I booked another reservation at midnight last night and got the Concierge cabin and "Go Better" perks of Classic Bev package and prepaid gratuities for $1,528 CAD pp. Only $163 higher pp than the "Go Big" price. The extra $163 more than covers the cost of prepaid gratuities if I paid that separately (around $220 CAD pp).
Then this morning I called the Captain's Club and changed to the "Go Best" deal for $1,852 CAD. I always upgrade to the Premium bev package (an extra $142 USD pp including gratuities) plus you get $150 USD pp in OBC. These two upgrades alone is worth more than the $324 CAD you pay extra for the "Go Better" price. Plus you also get the unlimited Wifi access.
I'm an accountant and I love these savings! It will more than offset the private tours that we've booked for this cruise.
Thanks again!...Ray

That's a great video! Our first cruise was on the Equinox which took us to Santorini in 2012, wonderful voyage and it transformed us into cruise junkies! Just booked another cruise on the same ship for next month.
-
We sailed on the Equinox in April of this year from Ft Lauderdale to Barcelona. No more than one time zone change per day. Surprisingly, the time changed in the middle of the afternoon each day. When it reached 2pm, the ship's time was adjusted to 3pm. That was OK with us, as we didn't lose an hour of sleep each night! [emoji3]

I received this email too and wasn't sure how it works. My wife and I have 233 points, so with a regular veranda cabin @ 3 CC points per day plus 10 bonus points, we would need to take a 19 day cruise to reach the 300 points for Elite status.
However, this offer is moot for us, as we're sailing on Eclipse in February for 14 nights in AQ, which will give us 70 points and Elite status after completing the cruise.

We've sailed on the Equinox in 2012 and 2014, meals in the MDR were great both trips. Sailing on the Equinox again next week on her TransAtlantic voyage to Barcelona.
The Equinox did stop in Colon, Panama during our 11 night cruise in 2014. But the ship didn't enter the Canal. Perhaps that's the itinerary that the OP meant?

My apologies; you are absolutely correct. It is on the slant of the hump. :)
Thanks for posting pictures of cabin 2106. We have booked the same cabin on the Solstice for our Sydney to Auckland cruise in 2017.

We've used the app several times. Taxis arrived at least 5 minutes ahead of the requested time. Great app.

Looking at this Tuesday's Xciting Deals and noticed that the USD FX rate has increased to $1.24 CAD (e.g. Canadian dollar is now worth 80 cents USD). I think Celebrity may be increasing the FX rate this week.
For example, the 17 night Tahitian Treasures cruise for a Suite is $3,799 USD, and $4,709 CAD.

I booked 2 more cruises today to take advantage of the current Celebrity exchange rate (at $1.12 CAD), as well as booking more OBC (which is still at $1.09 CAD).

Hello. We loved Murano. The room is beautiful and the lighting is dim enough to be romantic but you can still read the menu. The service was the best we experienced on the entire cruise. The wine list is impressive and the food was superb. Two big thumbs up! Enjoy your cruise and happy anniversary!!
Hi, I would agree with the above. When we cruised on the Equinox in June 2012, we went to these same 3 restaurants. All were great. However, the most memorable time was in the Tuscan Grille as we were seated next to the panoramic windows as we sailed in the Aegean, and could view the passing Greek Islands as the sun set. Truly romantic!

We're on the April 2015 Equinox TransAtlantic to Barcelona. Our TA paid for our pre-paid gratuities,so overall cost is very low.
-
$600 OBC for the 14 night Southern Caribbean cruise in Feb/16.
-
April 27th, TransAtlantic back to Europe. :)
-
I'll make this short, had a bad experience with HIE, was not a happy camper with my stay.
Could you elaborate on the bad experience? When did you stay there?
Thanks

Have a 14 night TransAtlantic in the Spring. Eight sea days, six are consecutive after departing Ft Lauderdale.
-
Yep, use a US based TA and normally receive prepaid gratuities and OBC, plus whatever Celebrity is offering as an incentive.
-
Works for me now. Thanks!

Hi, there should be an announcement in October for the next generation iPad Air and Mini. It's been nearly a year since the current gen was released (I upgrade each year). You should be able to pick up a refurb at that time for even less than what Apple is currently selling refurbs for.

Hi Cruisemom, if you have a minute, could you please forward your notes to me at r_ogaki @ hotmail dot com ?
Thanks very much!...Ray :)

I remember my Dad taking me out to dinner on my 18th birthday and ordering my first legal drink, a Bloody Caesar. Loved it and I always make sure I have clamato juice in my fridge.

Great review so far, can't wait for more. Thanks!

Great review, can't wait for the rest to come!

Wow! Amazingly detailed review so far, can't wait for the rest to come. Thanks!

I was originally attracted to Celebrity because of all of the positive reviews about the ships, food and service. I found all of this to be true, and when I learned about their non smoking policy on board, I was thrilled! It's one more reason I will continue sailing with Celebrity.

Hi Terry, thanks so much for compiling these pics of the Solstice. I'll have to show these to our friends who will be sailing for the first time on an S class ship (Equinox) with us next January. The Solstice is very similar to the Equinox with the same restaurants and lawn club design with the Corning Hot Glass show.
More OUTRAGEOUS pricing from Celebrity...

Yep, we managed to get the same deal today. We were already booked on this cruise and got the price decrease. The savings are sweet! :)
