When you upgrade to the Free at Sea Plus program, the price they show includes the gratuity for the extra two meals and the upgraded drink package.
We have upgraded to Free at Sea Plus on our past three cruises and have it planned for our next one as well.
For our next cruise it is $343 pp for the 7-day cruise. That is it. We do not have additional gratuity on top of that price.
So I’m currently being charged gratuity on every drink according to my stateroom account. I’ll have to head over to guest services.
See below. And don’t judge me 😂😂😂

Are the drink and restaurant gratuities included in the free at sea plus upgrade? Can’t seem to find the answer.

@julig22we also got the original occupants excursion tickets and welcome letter. They clearly weren’t prepared for the last minute changes they made.

So I’m currently aboard the Norwegian escape out of Orlando and I can confirm I did in fact get the extra specialty dining with my winning upgrade bid from inside to balcony. Cheers!

Thought I’d share my experience here since I didn’t find much info when I was looking.
I booked the Norwegian Escape for sail date tomorrow 2/17 about 4 weeks ago and all that was left was interior rooms. I booked the interior guaranteed stateroom in this case. Within a few days I received an offer to bid on an upgrade to a balcony. I placed an initial bid of $155 per person then increased to $205 per person a few days later. I received at the beginning of this week on Monday (we sail tomorrow) an email saying my bid was rejected but they counter offered to an ocean view room for 50PP. I agreed to the counteroffer, but still didn’t see it was accepted. I also as a last ditch effort increased my balcony bid to $245PP. Today I received a confirmation that I won my upgrade bid for a balcony and my card was charged $542. I’m assuming that’s $490 plus taxes and or fees. So ultimately I think it was worth it as that’s still less than had I booked it from the beginning.

Does Norwegian allow you to pay the difference if you choose to upgrade to a top shelf liquor when you have the basic liquor package? One of the cruisers wants some upgraded options, but the other won’t use it. Doesn’t seem worth the $500 price difference.

We have a group of 13 needing to get from Fort Lauderdale to Port of Miami. We will be staying in a hotel in Fort Lauderdale and would prefer service from the hotel to the port. Anyone know of any local private shuttle services or any other suggestions for this trip? We will also need to return to FLL airport when we get back.

How long did it take...I am being told 3 weeks is norm and I need mine in 7 weeks...wondering to expedite it?
We applied on November 26th and I received the first 3 on Tuesday Dec. 6th and the last one today. So less than 2 weeks.

My husband, my two kids, and I applied for our passports last Saturday. I've been following updates and all of them were processing normally, today they all show shipped and mine shows not in system (it has showed processing all along) ... Any thoughts?
Called today and it turns out they screwed up my social security number when doing the final processing. Its been shipped, but they had to go back through all my paperwork to see If it was my mistake or theirs, DUH!

I'm searching for info on car rentals from MCO to Port Canaveral. We are arriving late in the evening and staying at the Marriot right near the airport. We planned to rent a car in the morning to make the drive to the port. Whats the cheapest way to go about this? It appears that Hertz has a rental office on the hotel property so that would probably be easiest, but I'm not certain. Does anyone have any info or can you direct me to a thread where I might find some answers?
