Hi We are on the Pearl to Alaska on 13th May. I know to take wet and cold weather clothing but I don't know what to take for onboard, do ladies dress up in the evening or is casual OK, also will it be warmish on the ship?

It's difficult as we have time in the USA after and we will be camping as well, as we are flying luggage is limited....HELP.......

They usually do excursions for people going home that day.

One side of it is a smoking side so you may want to check that out.

We are on a 2 week cruise so we will have all day in Corfu, we have hired a car for the day.

Just booked this and very excited, can anyone give me any idea what time you get off the ship on the return (I know I haven't even got on yet.....) as we need to book a car for the following week. so I want to know roughly what time to get it for.

If you do Facebook the Dream has a page. You don't book for the 1 formal night per week you just get an invite telling you which sitting you are.

You get the Cruise News each day telling you the next days entertainment etc, it's not a big ship so you will soon find things out.....

We took the train, you can walk to the station from the ship,and saw the Colosseum, we got a guided tour from someone in an alley.....lol sounds dodgy but it was great, you do need a guide or you don't know what you are looking at. Just check the train times back to the ship and allow plenty of time.

I would have thought black trainers will be ok then........I once wore big walking boots on a 9 hr flight just took them off on the plane........

We booked a B2B cruise on Dream and when I phoned to check something else the cabins we had thought we had booked for the cruise had only been booked for 1 week (?????)and booked by someone else for our second week they did manage to change us to another 2 cabins in a suitable place though ...........

You could always wear the shoes...............

I don't think there is much at all for kids on the Dream, it's not really the sort of ship with lots of things to do as it only has one sea day people don't tend to spend much time on board in my opinion.

I have tried to search the board for tips on what to do at the ports on this trip Adriatic Explorer and Iconic Islands weather it's easy to DIY of if it's best to get a tour but I can't find much info, anyone been on it lately? We go in Sept.

If you can get the money back through your ins, I don't think I would be inclined to go through the hassle of a fight.

Well Pensioncruiser we are pensioners as well lol, we did it in Aruba and Barbados, it's really good for changeover day, we did the hoho bus in Majorca but for 4 people a car is about the same price.

Which town is nearest to the port, is it just Corfu town?
