Now to my new favorite libation.

    The Spicy Margarita.

When it comes to "drinks" Maya Chan really shines.

Like I said earlier, we arrived early in the day, to me it was still "coffee time"

Maya Chan had a pot brewing. None of the other Beaches we visited had coffee.

When "Day Drinking" time came. It was Spicy Margarita time.

The server brought me a perfect margarita with a side dish of crushed peppers. He explained that the bartender couldn't get them to stick to the rim of the plastic cup. I would have to add the crushed peppers as I saw fit.

Now this wasn't ideal but it was good. So I ordered another long with an Oreo-Chan.

When the server returned he handed me a drink with sliced peppers in it. He said that the Bartender had invented a drink just for me and to try it.

It's hard to explain what adding Jalapeño to a Margarita tastes.

The lime balances the spice while the pepper flavor stays in the drink.

Needless to say...a new drink is available at Maya Chan....The Mark-arita.

I still don't know if this really a new drink of not. But I would like someone going to Maya Chan to ask for a Mark-arita.

Oh and the Oreo-Chan tastes better than it looks in the picture. My cookie had sunk.

With that it is time to say Goodbye to Maya-Chan. Just as the rain clouds start to move in.
