Does the Dawn have the same night time parties that the mega ships host? i.e., 80s, Glow, NNO?
Yes it does.
Although, I don't remember seeing an 80's party.
Sail-away (Due to the cold) and the Glow party were held in Bliss.
Norwegian Night Out was Monday, the first day at Sea.

It seemed that everyone had the same idea for the rest of our last sea day.
The hot tubs and pool deck were packed
I think everyone had a good day even though it was our full day of this vacation.
I'll return later and give you my final thoughts of this Cruise and the Norwegian Dawn.

The Final Day of the cruise is another Sea Day
I pulled myself out of bed early to get pictures around the ship without a lot of people around.

We plan to do the zip line at harvest caye. I do know from reading you can't take anything with you on the zip line. So where do you put all your belongings? Are there lockers?
Yep.

Maya Chan was every bit as good as the reviews out there say it is. I will go back every time I'm in Costa Maya.

Now to my new favorite libation.
The Spicy Margarita.
When it comes to "drinks" Maya Chan really shines.
Like I said earlier, we arrived early in the day, to me it was still "coffee time"
Maya Chan had a pot brewing. None of the other Beaches we visited had coffee.
When "Day Drinking" time came. It was Spicy Margarita time.
The server brought me a perfect margarita with a side dish of crushed peppers. He explained that the bartender couldn't get them to stick to the rim of the plastic cup. I would have to add the crushed peppers as I saw fit.
Now this wasn't ideal but it was good. So I ordered another long with an Oreo-Chan.
When the server returned he handed me a drink with sliced peppers in it. He said that the Bartender had invented a drink just for me and to try it.
It's hard to explain what adding Jalapeño to a Margarita tastes.
The lime balances the spice while the pepper flavor stays in the drink.
Needless to say...a new drink is available at Maya Chan....The Mark-arita.
I still don't know if this really a new drink of not. But I would like someone going to Maya Chan to ask for a Mark-arita.
Oh and the Oreo-Chan tastes better than it looks in the picture. My cookie had sunk.
With that it is time to say Goodbye to Maya-Chan. Just as the rain clouds start to move in.

Before I give my Spicy Margarita Update for Maya Chan
Let me commend the service provided. You want something. If it is available. The staff will pull out all the stops.

Remember, I got a pretty good sunburn the day before. Having a shaded place for the Day was well worth it for me.
Maya Chan is a laid back beach. Not your Cozumel Style Beach Club.
