  1. Hello...

When we booked our tour I told the driver places I wanted to go. They added in other places and we were just as happy with that. Part of our group were dropped off at the ferry and part of the group was taken back to the dock.

  2. Just got back from Bermuda on Thursday. We were on the Explorer of the Seas with about 14 of us. Had a BLAST!

We did book a private tour thru Nadanja...image2entertainment@yahoo.com! Since we were 12 ppl we had 2 vans. Very clean, air and great drivers. Nadanja and his cousin J were very knowledgable and took us all over the whole island. We fed the fish at Somerset Bridge, climbed the Lighthouse steps, saw a private home that had a manmade pond of the island, very cool, went to the Swizzle Inn and met Aunt Rita, really his aunt, saw Horseshoe Bay, Tabacco Bay, and stopped at Sea Galss Beach where we picked up lots of sea glass. He dropped off half of our party in Hamilton where we caught the 3:30 ferry back to the dockyard, so we could see the island from the water and J took the older folks right to the dockyard, so there was not alot of walking for them.

It was the right thing to do for our family and I would reccommend him.

Please if you do use him, let him know we suggested it.

  3. I finally got in touch with someone to take us around the island.

Nadanja, is willing to help me out with 12 ppl. He said 2 vans at $55 per hr, which I think is right.

Now...what do I want to see? Can you help me out. We don't have little children and would like to see as much of the island as we can. should we have lunch at the Swizzle Inn, or somewhere else?

thanks to all that helped me out. I was getting nervous about being able to book someone.

  4. This should help!

    Hi Miriam,

I have tried to contact Colin Jennings thru email and by phone. I'm not having any luck. My emails go unanswered and by phone, he picked up but then we were disconnected. I left a message but really think I need to move on. Do you know of anyone else that I can contact concerning a tour of Bermuda?

  5. So I need some help, because I have emailed both colin and Duke and netiher one has gotten back to me. I need a van that can hold at least 6 ppl and now everyone in my group wants to go with us.

We could be 12 all total. I have heard such great things about both these guys and would really like to book them.

Does anyone have phone numbers so that instead of emailing, I would just call to see if they can do it.

Thanks to all you guys for helping out!

  6. We just returned from a cruise that called on Bermuda on July 31. In advance of our cruise, we tried to find a private tour guide for our party of 9 but were unable to find anyone who would accomodate more than 6. Up to the time we walked off the ship, we werent sure what we were going to do. We were kind of resigned to divide up our group into two taxis.

Alongside the pier, there were an abundance of Blue Flag taxis lined up. We approached the first "official" looking person and asked if there were any Blue Flag guides for larger groups. He said, no problem, and within 5 minutes, a large airconditioned van pulled up. I didn't get the driver's first name, but his last name was Isaac. He drove us all around Bermuda for 4 hours, providing detailed commentary...we saw everything! Then we spent approx 1 hour at Horseshoe Beach while he waited for us.

The rate is government controlled at $10 per person, per hour. So, the 5 hour tour cost $50pp total.

Thank you for posting back. I'm gonna keep an eye on theis thread to see if there is anyone out there that i could book with instead of just winging it. but I guess if it comes down to it, I'll do just what you did and hope for the best.

  7. i'm thinking of booking a cruise for next year and I'm already looking into which tours etc to take. We will be at least 10 ppl and I really don't want to take the public bus. Older folks with us.

does anyone know a tour guide that can handle us? We took a private tour when in St Marteen and it was great. Big airconditioned van and the guy was wonderful.
