I think I remember seeing that. If I remember correctly, he said that there is no such thing as a gluten allergy - a person isn't allergic to gluten, they are allergic to wheat or some other specific food. These are the people that carry Epi-pens.
Celiac disease isn't an allergy, it's an autoimmune reaction (the body starts attacking itself) to gluten, which is found in wheat, barley, rye, etc. Epi-pens won't help.
Then there are intolerances to gluten (similar to when lactose intolerant people drink milk - it won't kill them, but it makes them feel bad).
Wife is lactose un friendly. Great Weight loss stimulant though......

Ok I am semi familiar with the gluten free deal, But today I read something on Cnn.com that confused me. They had an article by a doctor of some sorts that said there is no such thing as a Gluten Allergy. SO confused:eek:

OK for you that have asked. Our DD is picky and has about 5 things she eats hates dressing up and would rather run around with friends or be on the computer with a pizza. This is one of the reasons we cruise everyone gets to do what they want and we all see each other in the room. Excited about steak and Lobster every night with a bottle Grigich Hills!!! Oh and some brandy and a black coffee. See ya at the Craps table.........
-
Win a couple grand at the craps table and they give you the drink sticker also.
-
Fully loaded over the door shoe organizer with all the stuff I may or may not need!!!
-
Why did you cancel?
-
MUltiple reasons including but not limited to draw back in cruising to negative media this year.
-
We have been debating about only eating at the Steakhouse we are traveling with our DD that is in her early teens and will not eat dinner with us on the cruise but maybe once or twice so $70 a night is not that big of deal since we love the food in the Steakhouse. Just not sure we can get reservations every night. Has anyone done this?
-
I can't find where to book this for our January cruise. Where can I do that, or do I have to call?
Look on the port day that you leave it will be there.
-
Bringing max amount for us 3. I prefer Hawaiian water from kona not sure why but it tastes better have my wife buy it at the specialty grocery store here.
-
We are wait listed for Christmas Sunshine for Late seating not too worried. So the theory that early gets wait listed and stuck in late seating is busted. Not too worried we always change tables and or seating when we get on board. Plus think we have decided to eat in the Steakhouse every night.

Elation is nice Sailed it after a big royal boat. Smallest boat ever on was the original Carnival boat Carnivale
-
Perfect Thank you!!
And I would assume that the tenders to port you have something to show them there also?
-
ok one question we purchased this for our upcoming cruise. Do we print something out to show when we get to the pier? Or are we on a list?
-
Why when people refer to a boat they call it a she?
-
On Carnival (especially ships sailing from Galveston), I know that I have seen men wearing nice, dark, jeans (starched & ironed), with boots and dress shirts on Formal night. A couple that we are cruising with includes a husband who simply does not do dress slacks. He wears Western jeans, starched, ironed & creased, and boots. Will he be turned away from the MDR on formal night? I don't want them to be embarrased...:(
I think where we come from that is called a Cowboy suit!!
They will let him in no problem. ENjoy!!!
-
Nothing but generic stuff can be found Does anyone have a Pic. of this room? Thanks in advance.
-
I thought this tread might be if you have been banned from Cruise Critic..... For the Record Maybe....:)

My favorite thing is to buy a watch on board. Dont forget about the 30 price guarantee!!!! If you find it cheaper they will mail you a check. I bought 2 Tags last trip and have bought a few Citizens. Cant wait for our christmas cruise to see the new styles.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this review/opinion. Still doesn't give me clarity -- but nonetheless, thanks for the information. I think I'm leaning towards staying in the cove balconies.
One question -- when you were in the spa was it ever crowded? Is it same-sex or unisex?
Thanks again!!
The crowd is not big at you will never wait to get in the "T" pool. or any hot chair. Hard to beat.

Hello, everyone!
I'm on the Breeze on an 8n-ighter in January. 2 cabins booked in a Cove Balcony -- and we chose that because they look so cool! What a unique experience to be so low to the water.
Buttt -- I just discovered Spa Balconies. We love spa "stuff" -- and would buy the spa thermal suite pass no matter where we're located (I know it's free when you get the spa balconies). But with the cost difference, it would come out to be the same price (cove cheaper than spa).
Should we move up? Stay in a cove? Anyone have experiences on both?
Thanks in advance for your help!!
OK
Here is my opinion... We have sailed on the Magic the last 2 cruise which of course is a sister ship. Last Cruise we stayed in a cove balcony. We happen to have one that was not under a lifeboat which made it feel bigger and they are much more private and being able to see fishes at the port and really hear the waves and feel part of the ocean was great. Loved this room. So the cruise 3 months prior we traveled in the Spa balcony room. View was awesome!!! Wow the twelfth deck is high. NO real noise of the ocean boat does rock a a little more. Furnishings are slightly better. Quiet as can be and we were the next cabin to the water works never was a problem. Loved both of them would again have a hard time to decide between the the 2.
So here is my close call....
I personally took a shower everyday in the Spa when we stayed in the Spa room. These showers are awesome and steps from your room plus you dont have to wait for your spouse/ kid. While you are just hanging around waiting on what ever there is always a spa or pool to sit in and again only steps away and ther is no crowd and it is so pleasant. Shampoo and bath wash is better also plus you have a bracelet and dont have to check in and get a pass to get in. Just loved these rooms.
Ok so next trip we do cove...
Cove wow!!! How can you be so close to the water?!?!?! Love it!! Boat is real calm down there also quiet. We did buy the spa pass and only used it 20% of the time we did when we were there. Elevator time hassle etc. But the cove balcony really puts you there with the sea.
So take that as a coin flip..
This next cruise we are doing a Premium aft balcony on the Sunshine cause of the spa differences and no cove so fingers crossed!!!!!
casino ?
