Just got off the Victory, aft balcony cabins had doors to go between the balconies if desired.
You know what I just saw that , I must be thinking of RCI ships thats good to know.

We booked 6432 and my sister and brother in law are in 6424. Can you please let me know if the divider door between the 2 balconies can open? I would really appreciate it. I thought they did and that is why I booked these 2 cabins. There are a total of 10 of us (the other 3 couples are across the hall) going and I was hoping we could open up both balconies for all of us to enjoy sail aways!
If there aft they wont others will on the side , but aft cabins had a solid wall I am pretty sure.

Same beer, rebranded is all.
Bud American Ale = Aruba Red = ThirstyFrog.
Carnival "exclusive"? Hardly.
Well I have had Aruba red and Bud american ale , I don't think they are the same IMHO. I prefer Aruba Red so once again , I will like it.:p

It reminded me of Killian's Red when I had it on the Freedom last July.
:) Well then thats a good thing for me , on draft. In a bottle not fond of it , but draft I will like it.

We are sailing from San Juan on April 4th. Staying Friday the 3rd, bid several times on a resort with no luck, bid as high as $120, which has worked in Sept. but I know April is high season, backed down to 4 star still no luck. I had seen on better bidding that that the Sheraton Old San Juan was going on Hotwire for $135, so went down to 3.5 stars hoping for the Sheraton bid $105 and got it . Not sure if you can go cheaper but its booking at $209 that night.

To me, "a lot of sun" means "mostly" sunny! I like to choose a cabin that pretty much ALWAYS has at least a small shady spot. There will be times in 9690 that there is no shade at all, but other times that it is completely shaded. It all depends on time of day and direction travelled. Many aft cabins have "obstructions" that provide a certain amount of shade at all times, but decks 8 and 9 corner cabins don't have these obstructions so therefore are "mostly" sunny. Did that help at all?
Okay how about the aft cabins on deck 7. We have 7388 booked on the AOS and my wife wants to know if she we be able lay out and get full sun on our deck. I have seen the pictures and know it is huge and I will be able to get plenty of shade but was curious as to if the obstructions block the sun.

As someone who has never been to San Juan - when I am selecting areas to bid on is there another location besides San Juan that I should be selecting (Dorado or Ponce . . ie)
thanks once again
Ron
Do not select other area unless you want to be a long way from the pier. Bidding San Juan will give you Old San Juan ,Conando and the Isla Verde area. I bid priceline all of the time if you only want resort you can only bid once every 24 hours. I just got The El San Juan Hotel and Casino for a pre-cruise night stay in Sept. Pricing seems to be all over thee place depending on when you go. I've read where people get the Carib Hilton with a $75 bid. I had to go up to $140 to get mine , they also charge fees and these hotels have a resort charge of $20. If you have any other questions I'll try to answer the best I can.
