Unless you got a specific cabin number, you were booking a guarantee and NCL is free to assign you to any OV and up. The difference between Sailaway and OK guarantee is with Sailaway you do not get Free at Sea perks and with OK guarantee you do.
Your TA should have made that clear to you. If your TA led you to believe you were getting an obstructed OV cabin, they were at fault.

Copying and pasting work for pictures too. Nice!

Now this is neat. I can now copy and paste pictures just like that.
Good job!

So you couldn't book unless putting in a fake person? That's a dumb practice by MSC.
-
.... unlimited is not unlimited.
Quantity is but quality isn't.
So open is not open. :D:D:D;p;p

Neither is the best ship in its fleet but both should be just fine. Had a fantastic time on Opera to Cuba last year. Cool little ship. Star is like Dawn.
-
So free is not free and unlimited is not unlimited.

They are collecting data under the name of bidding.

This is Corporate America, nothing is free.

It's available on every ship with or without a DL. 3 vouchers loaded daily for use during the cocktail hours of appx. 5:00-8:30 at most bars on board. Can only be used for the same drinks that are served in the DLThe 3 drink vouchers are in addition to the unlimited drinks in the DL. You can use the 3 vouchers at any bar, same drinks as in the DL, same time period as in the DL.
Thanks, Ken and Bob.
Sounds good to me. I'd just get myself 3 cans of beer at a random bar and put them in the room fridge for later and then hit the DL for a couple more.
-
No limit to drinks in the DL. One drink at a time, They don't mind if you take one drink out of the lounge on your way to dinner, but if you repeatedly try to leave the lounge with a drink, you could be asked discontinue that behavior.
Thanks, Bob.
I just read in this thread about loading the card with 3 drinks, what is that all about? On ships that do not have Diamond Lounges?
-
Ok, found this menu. It looks pretty good.
Are sparkling wine and Corona still available? Are free drinks unlimited between 5 to 8:30 pm to all Diamond members or is there a limit to the number of free drinks a Diamond member can have? Can you take the drink out of the lounge?
I would just grab a few cans of beer and be on my merry way.
-
Is it possible to book air travel through the cruise line? I have had good luck with airfare with another cruise line when dealing with one-way tickets.
-
What kind of free drinks do you get in the Diamond Lounge?
-
Better add US to the list, too. Atrocious record in and outside the country.
-
Many other Europe based cruise lines offer better freedom when it comes young adults drinking but as long as you don't act obnoxiously drunk you will be fine.
-
If the ship visits or departs from a US port it has to follow the same laws as all other ships. I think you need to do some research.
That's why I didn't book any of those. You obviously have no clue.
-
That is simply untrue. Where did you get that?
Yes it is true. Do some research.
Anyway, very happy for the other people in this thread. Bon voyage to you all.
-
Offers better freedom?? What does that mean?
Won't be subject to the same restrictions, in many areas.
-
I booked with a different cruise line which offers better freedom so I won't be subject to the same. Do hope you all have a satisfactory answer one way or another.
-
And Miracle too.
Have been very fortunate with all my bookings this and next year.

My understanding is currently Diamond on RCCL or Platinum on NCL will get you Black on MSC.
Oasis incident at Freeport Shipyard
in Royal Caribbean International

Where can I find which ships are scheduled to use this Freeport dry dock after this? Want to see if my sailings will be affected.
