On X, the sauna and steam rooms are free. Albeit small, in the locker room, but functional and free. :D

On the Epic, I'll need to factor in the Spa Pass. I'll need sauna and steam rooms especially for the long sea days, and Epic needs money. :p

Edited: Ooops.... sorry! Is it free on X, or not? My memory blurred.... maybe I get it mixed up with Crystal....?

For our Allure in April we've booked a BOARDWALK BALCONY 10717 (next to yours, OP).

My TA did offer us an oceanview balcony. This is my reply to him :

"We can have oceanview balcony anytime, but this is our only chance to experience a boardwalk balcony, so be it."

I don't know if we'll like it or hate it, but at least for the novelty, I just want to experience it. I even secretly wish that no upgrade fairy this time : please, please let us stay in a boardwalk balcony, for better or worse. :)

Immediately after Allure, we will enjoy our oceanview balcony on Epic. ;)

YMMV, but whatever your decision is, enjoy your cruise!

I hope there will be chocolate packs on the Allure. Can't sleep without a hot choco drink! :)

We're booked on the Epic but weren't aware of the Star option until reading your post.

Barcelona is a wonderful city and we'd love to visit it again. Unfortunately this time we have limited time, and will be flying out right after disembarkation.

Whichever you decide, enjoy. A day on a cruise is much better than a day at work. :)

Actually, I am worried. Usually I seek advice from CC friends and read reviews, but I don't know why I suddenly book this company on impulse. Only after posting this thread, I read the reviews and as you said, 100% against it. Well, ...

Anyway, I'd rather losing money than having to miss our cruise. I am now looking for plan B.
