Hi LateBloomer,
Embarkation was a breeze. Debarkation was literally a nightmare. They had all the Diamond/VIPs go to an auditorium but failed to come back and tell us when to get off the ship. It took hours with no organization.
When I boarded I went straight to my room. Luckily mine was all set up with Welcome gifts already. Apparently a lot of others had to wait to get access to their cabins. Muster was just a check in basically.
Specialty restaurants are limited. I went to Chops twice if not 3x. Service and food were excellent. The MDR sea day brunch service needs improvement. Dinner service in the MDR was acceptable. All the staff is eager to please. Very nice. Absolutely doing their best.
It's a new home port with new itineraries. I'm sure it will improve exponentially.
The ship is nicely laid out and I am looking forward to returning. Wish we had better ports but it is what you make it.
