Is the rail ride in Port Chalmers to the gorge worth while or is time better spent touring Dunedin? In Tauranga (Rotorua) are there tours or taxis at the dock for the thermal areas or is it best to book a ship's tour? Thanks.

I take about 12 different vitamins/minerals daily. When I travel I put each day's supply in a little plastic bag. Do you mean to tell me that even if declare them, I won't be able to take them in? Really don't want to pack 12 different bottles, some of which are large size. Will be there for a month so it's a lot of pills.

Will visit following ports in Feb., 2015 & would like to know about the availability of local taxis and/or small tour vans at each. Is it possible to just walk off the ship & book something? Ports: Hobart, Port Chalmers, Akaroe, Wellington, Tauranga.

If you have stayed in this room, did you have any problems w/noise from the pool above? Was there an issue w/the balcony w/the pool being above? Is there any shade at all on the balcony? Will be in this room for Australia/New Zealand cruise in 2015. Any info/pics you may have will be appreciated.
