If you read the article it states that "all returned to normal at 12:39" - once it was determined that there was no issue.
This is totally FALSE!!! We are on Silhouette which was right next to Freedom. 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon & the road was still blocked by the police. People were walking at least a half mile with all their belongings. I’m not sure where they were going but NOBODY was heading towards the ship. Every ship left port EXCEPT Freedom. I have no idea what time they left but they were still loading food & luggage approximately 4:30!

The Freedom of the Seas port is closed due to some kind of explosive threat. People can’t get on or off. People walking with all their luggage probably a half mile away from ship. I’m not sure where they are going but their a LONG way from their ship. We’re on Silhouette, not sure if we will be leaving on time but they have NO chance of leaving on time!

Do you have to ask for the pillow menu or will it be in the cabin?

I know their website says coming soon & I called about 1 month ago. BlueHerron said a couple weeks ago they had talked to the manager & he said they were trying to open that weekend. I have not heard if they opened yet & was wondering if anybody knew?

Does anybody know if the new restaurant at Riverside is open? I would love to see some pictures if it's open & someone's been there.

How does a van take you to Water Island?
I was thinking the same thing.

Not sure of taxi cost but Water Island is fine according to others on here. I’ll be there in April, so I can let you know for sure when we get back.

We were sitting with the new GM of the restaurant last night at Big City and he is shooting for next week.
Please keep us updated on the opening. I'd love to see some pictures if possible, thank you in advance!

Enjoy time on the ship. St. Martin is still recovering.
All the more reason to get off the ship, spend some money & help them recover!

Boathouse at the Riverside is scheduled for a soft opening the beggining of March! Should be in full operation for my April stay!

Ajanta is a great place. I received a card from them saying they are open.

I just upgraded to Aqua for a total of $6 this week from my regular balcony. I was able to keep my GO BEST package also. It was a no brainer for me!

Riverside for sure! Great location, with great food & drink right there!

Just my opinion but your cousins sound like some really great people. If I was you I would be paying for all of there rooms just because. :D:D:D:D:D:D
I take it you're the cousin? That was a good one!

Definately Riverside, we stayed there last year and absolutely LOVED it! Perfect location for walking or Water Taxi. We booked it for $200 in beginning of April.

we booked that and it was cancelled due to rough seas
I can understand that but to cancel it 7 months out is very strange to me.

Celebrity is now using Crown Bay rather than Havensite in St. Thomas. Crown Bay is across the bay from Havensite.. It is much easier to take the ferry provided by the ship's excursion rather than taking a cab to Red Hook then take the ferry to St. John. No worries about getting back to the ship on time. Once you get to St. John, you will be on your own. I took the excursion that included the National Park. I was disappointed in the tour. Saw nothing other than the park. I would have liked to see more of the island. It will leave you at Trunk Bay but you have to pay for a cab (extra $8)back to the ferry area. Just take a cab to Trunk Bay and enjoy the beach.
This is exactly why I booked it. I booked the "on your own". I wasn't going on the parks tour. I just wanted to get there & back the easiest way!

Might be that wacky website of theirs. Maybe phone them and ask.

I thought about that myself, they did credit my OBC. I think I'll wait a week or two & let them worry about hurricane Irma 1st.

I received an email from Celebrity today saying our St John's on your own tour is being cancelled due to minimum participation being met. We don't cruise until April 8th!!!!! Wow I guess they know 7 months out that they won't meet participation. Has this happened to anybody else???

Please tell me they have something other than Heineken. I can't stand that. I thought I read somewhere that they also have O'Douls. Here at home I can get so many different options including just finding Blue Moon which is absolutely fantastic!
