  1. When, in reality, do the luggage tags become available to order on line? I know the website states 2 months but we are by that and still showing as "not yet available"
We're cruising with you and I check daily! One of these days, hopefully they'll show up. If not, at 4 weeks out I will call Captains Club and ask them to send!:)
  2. Another tip: Pack your old ratty undies and throw them out after wearing. No laundry to do.:D

You can also find clothes lines with suction cups, use them in the shower of S class ships. I find whenever I launder undies at night, they are dry in the morning if you roll them in a towel before hanging them up to dry.

That's my method too! Once we've showered I wring out the undies and wrap them in the towel..rolling it up...then walk on it! Amazing how much additional dampness comes out. They're inevitably dry by morning!:):D

  3. Along these same lines, we booked the Silhouette April TA last week. I signed up for the connections party. Every morning since I have received an email from Celebrity welcoming me to the party! Wonder how many I will have racked up by April 10?

I get the same email, every morning, about our Connections Party! I think their computer program is stuck in a loop somewhere, LOL:eek::rolleyes::confused:

  4. ...really hoping this is true. We booked in November, but are travelling with two other couples that recently booked. Sure would like to introduce them to the specialties...especially Murano! sailing in April on Reflection.

    :)

I spoke with the Captain's Club several days ago and they reconfirmed that the complimentary specialty restaurant is still a Sky Suite benefit. If you click on the "See Full Details + " tab, you will see •One complimentary dinner for all guests in suite (cruise of 6 or 7 nights) and two complimentary dinners for all guests in suite (cruise of 8 nights or more) in a specialty restaurant.
  5. BUMP!! Is anyone as excited about this ship as my son is - he's 10 and on the maiden voyage 5/2/09. What exactly is supposed to be going on for the maiden revenue paying cruise - anything special?? Fireworks etc -when we got our tickets it was if this sailing was nothing special!!

I have to agree...we're flying all the way across the Pond for the maiden voyage and there seems to be ZERO excitement:confused:  !!! It will really be a huge disappointment if there's no fanfare:( ! We haven't gotten our tix yet, though..not that far away now, either!!!:D

  6. Berni, we'll have to arrange a meet somewhere for birthday toasts...can you give me some ideas of what to do in Cobh & Cork???

Lisa, are you on the inaugural, too??? I'm certain there will be ample food for your "locust"...Windjammer is open nearly all the time, there should be pizza, soft-serve ice cream, etc. Lots of fresh fruit, too!!

Time will fly, I'm sure until this cruise. Just absorbing every bit I can about the ship...our first inaugural trip!!

    Cheers, all

  7. Great thread...thanks so much for all the info on Southampton!! We are sailing on her inaugural in a few short weeks. There are only 3 posts to the thread I started...sure hope that others are as excited as we are:confused: . The trip is a surprise birthday present for DH, am bursting at the seams to keep it a secret until March 30!!!;) His grandfather emmigrated from Cork to Pennsylvania so there is a real tie to his heritage!!

Hope to see some of you ...

    Cheers,

    eileen
