  1. I have a question about Trunk Bay. I'm going on EOS in Dec. Normally my mom (82)and I (39) go on tours together so I have someone to watch my stuff. She isn't up to the length and activity of the trip to St. John. I'm thinking of going by myself and really want to snorkel. Do you know if there were lockers where I could lock up my money and ID? I really don't want to take it in the water with me and I wouldn't want to leave it on the beach either. Thanks for your thoughts.

We have an "Aquapac" brand waterproof case that we've used for years! It works very well!

  2. Thanks, Conanc. My educated guess would be that there is no difference in your view from 6021 vs. 6025. I think the sweet sixteen cabins are pretty even ground. I was concerned about the white frame around our veranda, but it did not bother us at all. We never had to lean over the rail much for the beautiful views. If you would like to see more views from this cabin, you can visit my review at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1254858

Thanks. I was just wondering if there was anything blocking the view on that first Sweet Sixteen cabin. Just read your wonderful review and LOVE your photos! They are stunning! I posted on your review thread, too. :)

  3. I use a small Coach crossbody bag that I purchased at the outlet. I am not sure they still make it -- the ones I see are quite a bit larger than mine but I've seen it on ebay from time to time. It fits in the safe and still leaves plenty of room for other things like my camera, passport case, etc. I don't always carry the purse around the ship with me but it's the perfect size and just what I need for traveling, shopping, etc.

  4. Hi -- Sorry I can't help with specific breakfast spots. We always stay near the pier area so have not had breakfast here before.....just lunch or dinner, but maybe head over for breakfast at a cafe on Las Olas: http://www.lasolasboulevard.com/dining.htm or somewhere on Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard.

Take 1A -- the scenic route -- to Miami. Be sure to leave time to check out South Beach area before heading to the Hertz car rental office.

    Enjoy!

  5. Deck - Vista 8

    Cabin # - 8126

    Class – 2A

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

    Bed near – Balcony

Quiet Cabin – Cabin was very quiet.

Balcony View - Great unobstructed view!!! We chose this cabin because it was located very far forward and had an unobstructed view straight down to the water, which we enjoy.

    Balcony Size - Normal

Was wind a problem - No

Any Other Comments? We loved this cabin! It was perfect for us since we spend a lot of time on our balcony and like a great view. Would book it again in a heartbeat!

  6. ckrobyn - It should be easy to get a taxi back to the ship from Coki. They were all over the place just waiting when we were there.

St. John's is beautiful! We enjoyed snorkeling at Trunk Bay. However getting there does cut into your time a little. If you are not snorkeling and want more beach time, you may want to consider staying in St. Thomas.

  7. I also just got back from the Summit. We had an aft balcony on Deck 7 - cabin 7203 and loved it! We also visited Cabin 9160 (Hi Lois!) and it was great as well. I would much rather have *any* aft cabin than a standard balcony cabin on any deck!

    Enjoy your aft cabin!
