  1. Thinking of going to HB on my last day in port (departing at 3 pm). Don't normally do things on my own but the cruise is 3x the price for the same "excursion". What time does the shuttle start running? What time should I plan to leave the beach to get back to the Dockyard on time? Thanks!

  2. As a follow up to my earlier post...I know there are specific lines for Haven guests to check in and probably gold/platinum level members but is there a different line for past cruisers and first time cruisers? I am traveling with a large party and we are the only ones who have been on NCL before. Will we be with the group or on our own line?

  3. I am thinking of stopping here either on my way to or from HB or as a break in the beach day.

I was planning to take the HB shuttle to and from the dock, but I know the lighthouse and the beach are on the #7 bus line. Could I walk from the beach to the lighthouse or would you recommend skipping the shuttle, using the bus and stopping there first? Thanks!

  4. Two day passes are often available on board but sometimes they run out of them.

The 15 ticket book is not sold on board, nor is it sold at the Dockyard, where your ship will be berthed. You have to go into Hamilton to buy it.

Neither the passes or tickets are good for the Horseshoe Bay shuttle. Passes, tickets, and tokens are good on public buses and ferries only. The shuttle is a privately run operation.

njhorseman - thank you for a prompt and comprehensive reply. I appreciate the assistance.

  5. I think I read on here somewhere that passes can be purchased on board prior to arriving to Bermuda. Is that true?

I'm also considering buying the 15 ticket booklet since some of what we want to do leaves from the dockyard and we may not need passes. Are the booklets also available on board?

Finally, does the Horseshoe Bay shuttle ($16 RT) take the passes/tickets or is that a separate company from the regular transportation system on the island? Thanks!

  6. Has anyone ever booked excursions through them? Looking to book the Whale Watching trip - thought it could be something fun for the family when the water might be too cold for swimming / snorkeling. Any thoughts?

  7. We are sailing on NCL BA the week of April 24. I know weather is unpredictable (as we prepare for a potential snowstorm this weekend), but I'm trying to figure out of booking a catamaran/ snorkeling trip would be worth it. I'm concerned the water will be too cold for much swimming / snorkeling. Thoughts from those who have travelled at that time? TIA.
