Well, you may be the one laughing now, which you are allowed to do, but just wait until most of this information turns out to be true. My source has been correct in the past (most recently with ship re positioning) and he/she/it will be most likely correct again. When this happens, I will be the one laughing.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Post title is misleading. Clicked here looking for hard info, instead got served a healthy dose of rumor and speculation, far over my recommended daily allowance.

The majority of the ports you visit on a cruise will not ask to see any travel documentation. You're considered "in transit" like if you were flying through an airport in another country, which is why you don't have to clear customs in each port.
Granted, I'm not an immigration attorney, so take this with a grain of salt.

Your not seeing commercials because they are making too much money... Bookings are very strong now, wait till winter, they'll start up again.
Bookings can't be that strong with all the sales and price drops they've been doing lately.

I'm planning on buying a Citizen watch on my next cruise. They were much cheaper on the ship than I've been able to find them online, by a good amount.

I saw that but I'm hoping that it is wrong!
Just plan for the fact they can't be opened, and be delightfully surprised if they can open them. :D

How Do You Save Up For A Cruise?
in Saving Money on Your Cruise - Tips & Advice

My wife and I "pay" a certain amount every month, just like a bill, into a savings account set up that we just use for vacations or "fun money". If we get extra money, like a tax refund or bonuses at work, we try and put at least half into this account as well. It works well for us, and lets us vacation about once a year or so. If and when we get raises, we just increase the amount paid in every month.
