We went with Romeinlimo to wineries both in Florence and Sicily-phenomenal! Also Romeinlimo found me some wine I was looking for that is only produced in a part of Naples, served it to us over peaches. We have used Romeinlimo at least 28 times at this point, for wines, family searches-successful ones thanks to Romeinlimo, and countless other places and experiences-Anzio being one. They are a fantastic tour company well worth the dollars spent. 

No experience with Joe Banana but I’d never switch from Romeinlimo-have used them for so many years and cities with outstanding results, most recently in April and May. As many times as we have been to Italy, they always give us the very best of themselves

Enrico from Romeinlimo introduced us to all the little spots and foods we would otherwise never find, and we had actually met two years earlier on two RIL tours-he remembered everything about our time and my sister, who was my travel buddy. We were on multiple Roots tours then and RIL helped us complete our goals!

Back from 5 days in Rome with a 10 day cruise, all Italian ports booked with Romeinlimo and after many years of using their services we consider them the best of the best for quality of service, professionalism, and a pleasure. We booked all our transfers, Rome by Night, a day tour to Anzio and surrounds, a Rome day to tour new places we wanted to discover, and more! We had Enrico and Franco, the best! We then booked during our cruise, had a fabulous day and a half tour with Luca in Messina surroundings plus a phenomenal day with Alex in Sorrento, who was our translator as well for a family meet. As always, on time and efficient, we had full days with immediate easy access everywhere we went, and again, after all these years, so very pleased.

My vote is also Pompeii and Sorrento Amalfi via Romeinlimo, not Capri. That’s too hard of a day especially dealing with the times of the ferry. We’ve been in each of their vehicles, you cannot go wrong with their vehicle size recommendations. We had them quite a few times from Naples, just used them last year in Rome for 2 roots tours, Rome by night, etc, and just booked April for Rome, Messina and Naples. I just returned from Rome 2 days ago and did 3 tours with Romeinlimo, whom I have used for many years. We did post-cruise touring this time. We always book the Vatican private tours with Romeinlimo, but this time we didnt. Huge mistake. Our associates did and zipped through, while we waited forever in security lines. Romeinlimo has always handled it for us in the past, they will handle it in the future. We also took two Roots tours, and Rome by night. All were fantastic, professional drivers, excellent communication from beginning to end, and Romeinlimo brought us to more new and amazing places than before. We did a Rome Surrounds day tour, fantastic. As a long time customer pre-during-post cruise, I would have a hard time trying a new company. They are the best.

Just spent 3 tour days with Rome in Limo and after more than 10 years of taking cruises and also land tours, always booking Rome in Limo, we again had spectacular tours and great luck, from our initial transfer from the airport, to our return to the airport 10 days later. We toured Rome with Enrico , Bari with Angelo, and Grottaminarda with Stefano. We combined our 'regular' tours with searching for our roots tours. Every tour was customized to our needs both in advance AND on the spot, and as always, Romeinlimo did a fantastic job for us. We did not book the guide for the Vatican this trip due to our time constrains but have booked them in the past several times. Strongly recommend doing it. Every time we use Rome in limo, as proved again this past week, we learn more, do so much more, and enjoy it more than even the last time. Because of their diligence and professionalism, we found family and historical records this trip. Miracles happened, Romeinlimo has our gratitude!

Our last trip to Italy both cruise and post cruise was fabulous, and Rome in Limo made it happen. We booked with Jany for day tours in Florence, Positano, Rome, Assisi, countryside, Pisa, and every day was perfect. We customized and were able to see so much more than big group tours, it's impossible to explain until you experience them for yourself. The reason we booked with Rome in Limo was because we have used them for as long as they have been in business, and their professionalism, customer service and attention to detail is exactly what we want and need when traveling, and has been consistent for all these years. We also have been with Rome in Limo in Sicily. That was also a great day trip. Even in Rome, our latest trip was a new adventure because Rome in Limo made sure we saw so many new aspects of Rome than our previous tour 2 years before. We book early, have used RIL at least 15 x and would never use anyone else. They booked Vatican guides for us twice, Pompeii guide once, and the rest of our experiences have always been amazing because our drivers are always amazing. they go to the last mile to make your experience excellent and special. Well worth every penny. Share tours have worked out well for people we know when they have communicated with sharers prior to arrival. We have share experience that worked great for the same reason- up front communication. For many years we have used RIL and are heading back in 2016 for more! Friends of ours just booked 4 days with them as well. You will be very happy.

We have used them many times, plan to be back in the fall, and you can customize your entire booking to cover so much area that you will have a comprehensive view of Rome that you would be unable to get in one day anywhere else, with anyone else. Romeinlimo can pick you up, your luggage is protected, you can be chauffeured right up to where you need to be, which gives you so much extra time in the different sites. If you are taking the cruise the next day, you can possibly go to the Vatican early in the morning for 8am, go through St. Peters and still make your ship. Also, if your cruise brings you back to Rome, you can spend a second day there, even group in with another couple or three-some and cut your costs to a share tour.

Most important, Romeinlimo is highly professional, satisfaction a given, and I can safely say that because we have been clients/customers for both cruise stops and land trips, and have been everywhere under the Sun with Romeinlimo. They are the best.

We have used both, and have never once been uncomfortable. I like the sedans as well, because it gives you a different feel of luxury, and either way, you will have an excellent ride, and an excellent experience. Using Romeinlimo many many times, we have always communicated our wishes prior to the individual tours, then Romeinlimo gets you there, gets you in, and gets you completely advised and timed so you can see and do SO much in the time you have to spend, you won't believe it. I know many people have seen me on the boards supporting our tours with Romeinlimo over the many years we have used them. We have customized every single day we've booked. Jany has done everything in the most professional way, our Romeinlimo drivers are fantastic, and we see more of Italy than we ever possibly could without them. Both my husband and I, our kids, their friends, my friends and I, and other couples we have traveled to Italy with have all used Romeinlimo multiple times, have met many drivers, have just never once considered using another tour company since the first year we met Duman and his RomeinlimoTour experts. We just came back last week from a cruise and land tour, used Romeinlimo four times, in Florence/Pisa, in Rome, outside of Rome, Positano/Sorrento, three days, and they also arranged several other events for us. I have used Romeinlimo many years now, and they just get better and better every time! Always something different and new, always phenomenal customer service, guides, assistance, and we have come to depend on them for such wonderful times in Italy. We have used them in Sicily as well, same results there. This trip, April 22 to May 2 was again, awesome, and I thank Romeinlimo for making it so great and easy for us. My knee was totally out this trip, and I never had to worry with the service we had, the drop off areas, it all worked great. Professionally speaking, you cannot beat them for their dedication to making our trips fantastic.

Have used Romeinlimo for five years, and we have always had a fantastic experience, customized tours, ease of travel, plenty of information, and the best customer service anytime anywhere. I noticed a lot of people asking about customization-just say what you want, and if it is possible, it will happen. We just returned from a 12 day cruise and 3 day Rome tour on June 19. We began using Romeinlimo years ago, when Duman was in his second year of business. We had fantastic tours then, and now, and the two times in between. We have used Romeinlimo for airport transfers, ship transfers, and tours in Florence, Positano-three times- and Messina/Taormina, Vatican tours, as well as Rome four separate visits, Assisi, and the countryside including a winery, Pompeii, Sorrento, Castel Gandolfo, you name it, we've been there with our Romeinlimo drivers. We've been wowed and impressed with every single tour, with every single driver, and all of the wonderful customized tours we've chosen. I can honestly tell you I would not consider another tour company especially since the customer service before, during, and after touring is fabulous. We've been fortunate to use Romeinlimo for all of our needs in Italy for four out of the past five years. We have taken friends with us two of the four times we've been, and they still tell all their friends about Romeinlimo's drivers, service and experiences. we booked Umbria as listed with Romeinlimo for the tour including Orvieto, Assisi etc. We ended up staying at the Abbey in Assisi and at the Mountain top where St. Francis lived. We decided to focus on the countryside and those two spots-well worth it. No matter what you choose to do in Umbria, it's fabulous. You could stop at a winery as well. Just speak to Jany.

Assisi was so peaceful-magical, really.

We just returned from a 12 day RCCL cruise. Romeinlimo picked us up at the airport, brought us to the ship, then in Messina, Sicily we had a fantastic tour with RIL and met Alessandro, who took us to Mt. Etna, to Castelmolo, Taormina, Messina-Fantastic tour. We also were picked up on the 16th by Mauro, and before we checked into our hotel, had a grand Rome tour, with two hours at St. Peters, all the major sites, and also a visit to Castel Gandolfo and a lakeside lunch. We had a fantastic day, all over Rome and surrounds. The following day, RIL picked us up, Mauro again, for our journey to the Emerald cove and Positano, with a little pop visit through Sorrento, and it was glorious!! The following day, Romeinlimo-Mauro-took us to Umbria, to Assisi and we had yet again an amazing day. We met up with Duman that night, and were whisked off to the airport the morning of the 19th, again with RIL, and now are at home.

This is the FOURTH year we have booked all our Italy tours with Romeinlimo. As always, the service is fantastic, Jany is amazing, and all the drivers are wonderful. We had other private tours during the cruise, which I will post in the appropriate forum, and Romeinlimo gets my vote yet again for the best tours we've taken in Italy, bar none.

I have used them many times, and book as early as I can, as often as we can :) just so I have things sorted and settled. We've used them multiple times for Florence, Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, Positano, and are using them in two months for Messina, Rome surrounds, and Positano/Ravella. We have always been very happy with all our drivers, their info, perspective, and special things they do for us during our days, as well as the consistent, perfect customer service. I am a big fan, and fortunate to be traveling enough to not only use them often, but also they have been great resources to us for our time in Europe.

We use Romeinlimo quite a bit, and also have them book private guides for us, Pompeii, Vatican--have had them book us Vatican guides twice so far, and each time it is completely worth it. We have booked Romeinlimo yet again for June, every place we go that they go!

Based on what I have read on cruise critic, I have been communicating with Mohy and have been getting excellent responses. I need to ask a few questions---

No matter how many people are in our tour, we caravan with a lot of others to Cairo from the ship?

Using Ramses, we travel 3 hours in that caravan? are there stops along the way?

Once we get to Giza, should I assume the entire caravan is still together?

Can we make changes on the spot with Ramses? Approximately what time do we head back to Alexandria the next day? I noticed some people decided to go to the pyramids the second morning, is that do-able and still giving us plenty of time in Alexandria?

Is there anything else I should know regarding working with Ramses? Did you all tip a certain percentage, what currency, Euro?

now i have to go check on Ephesus/Kusadasi!

just putting in my recommendation-we've used Romeinlimo for every port in Italy we could over the past three years, and every single trip--some to the same cities-have been different, awesome, and we are again booking june with Jany--you cannot beat the personal service, customized days, information, you name it. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to find RIL and continue to do business with them. Just a small example of their service--in August 2010 I mentioned i wanted to find a particular wine to try, only created in Naples. I didn't mention it to Giovanni, our driver, until we were nearly in Positano. When we were at the beach, he got the wine, sliced peaches, had it waiting for us at the van when we came from the beach/shopping. That's priceless to me, that my single days in port are memorable because of the customized service we get from Duman and Jany and all the men and women drivers and guides we have met. Another little aside--we had a fantastic guide for the Vatican, booked by RIL, who was a wonderful woman, scholar, incredibly bright, and we loved meeting her. We considered her the best of the best. Next trip to the Vatican, with different friends, we booked another guide through RIL. She was ALSO fantastic! Totally different experience, totally awesome. And we actually have been at the Vatican multiple times over the years, but with the two guides we had via RIL, we had a better experience than all the hours spent on our own inside Vatican city. You always feel special the way you are treated. You always feel that you are their only client, their most important client. Cannot beat that for a great experience.
