and I wanted a $1 so the coin on the bottom left a local guy just gave to me

we decided to head to the shopping areas to shop and find a local place to get some lunch

That Cambio place is a little window where you can exchange money for their currency

one of the locals offered to take our picture if we gave him my husbands hat :eek:uh no thanks! someone else offered for free lol

this is the food they serve you - jerk chicken, and these 2 little potato bread things and salad with some sweet/tangy dressing... hubby loved the jerk chicken.. it was good but I cant really eat spicy stuff

there was a dj playing music and a lady teaching them a dance.. and then there were competitions and limbo .. there were showers and changing rooms ...

The locker rentals were $8 and you get 3 back at the end when you turn the key back in, theyre pretty good size lockers. If you happen to forget water shoes they rent them there.. we bought some in Miami because im weird about feet & then threw them away after the climb ..the whole thing took about 1-1 1/2 hours then we headed to paradise beach...it would have been nice to have had a little more time at the falls to hang out on that beach

also the vendors are pretty bad at the end of the falls...very aggressive trying to hand you things then telling you you have to pay for them .. some of them will even grab your hand and try to bring you to their booth.. trying to shove weed in your face.. none of it bothered us but just be prepared for it.. I would love to have looked without them all trying to sell you this and that and attacking you but since they wasn't possible we decided to just keep walking

the stand to the left is drinks ...there were several different sodas and rum punch its unlimited but the cups they give you are 2 oz cups

the beach was very pretty ..but the ocean was SO rocky my toes got very cut up and we ended up not even really wanting to be there.. there is a stand off the left near the drink tent where you can ask for the shuttle.. and they will either take you to the shopping area or back to the port..

by the way its actually super easy to climb even though its 1,000 feet it doesn't seem like it when you're doing it... it was probably one of my favorite things we've ever done. that's not to say my legs weren't a tiny bit sore the next day lol..

and every bit of it is so pretty!!!

They will take your picture with your camera as well as theirs... & they sell it at the end...

I think it was like 6 or 7 dollars

Theres a spot deep enough to be a slide- you will end up underwater -pretty cool! (and the rocks are smooth enough it doesn't hurt)

This guy was with the guide the whole way making a video that we were supposed to be able to buy at the end but apparently the video wasn't long enough so no one could get it , he made it really fun though & kept everyone laughing.

we bought the dunns river falls & paradise beach excursion...I wouldn't exactly call it paradise beach but more about that later

Ive been trying to figure out how to go back and edit these posts so I can replace the pictures that are now missing..but for some reason I cant edit? anyone have any tips?!

They left our shore excursion tickets for the next 2 days along with the next days fun times and spa specials

This was the night I asked for the octopus... here it is.. he decided to make 2 towel animals this night just in case I thought the octo was horrible lol he even left me a note!

the aft buffet had downstairs & upstairs seating areas so I leaned over and snapped a shot of the buffet

we went all the way aft to the sirens pool , this one has a retractable roof there were usually a lot of kids back there using the hot tubs as swimming pools so we didn't spend a lot of time there but the copper fountain was pretty! This is also where sirens bar & the buffet & pizza pirate & sandwich grill

and this pool had benches all around the edge so you can put your legs in

and the giant chess set is back here to the right of the pool

on deck 5 in the atrium is where the shops are... ps DONT forget anything a bottle of Tylenol was TWELVE dollars!!!:eek: That was the one thing we didn't bring!

Okay sorry I haven't gotten a chance to finish this, we have had a very chaotic month from my grandma passing away to finding out I was pregnant finally after 6 years of trying to have a baby ...but the dr says it doesn't look viable. so for now were just keeping our fingers crossed. .. anyways my husband is out in the field so ive got some free time to finish this!! So Im not sure whats going on with all the random pictures not showing up now, ill go back and edit the posts & try to reload them all.. but for now heres the rest of the casino pics

And the atrium.... since this atrium was so many floors.. & of course I wanted a picture that showed them all & it was difficult since its not a completely open one with that huge circular green ceiling.. I had to go down to the very bottom and lay in the floor looking up ... :rolleyes: I may or may not have gotten some crazy looks...
