The only time I ordered raw Oysters from the seafood shack was out of New Orleans so they were Gulf oysters. The oysters will depend on which port you sail out of.
There is no guarantee they are Louisiana oysters since the Louisiana oyster producers cannot fulfill the demand, even of Louisiana restaurants and stores so the oysters could be from other states.

I have some Protein Powder I use at home, but the container is much bigger than what I want to carry around and don't really want to carry around a couple of ziplock bags with powder in them. I'll see what I can get from the Java Blue
Goodluck! In the past I had some individual serving size protein shakes that were a little larger than a hot chocolate pack that I used for weight management. I brought them on several cruises.

If I had to have a protein drink, I would try to find a powered one that is a lot easier to carry.

This is the same reason a 20oz soda bottle is $5 or more in an airport. You're a captive audience. I do hope you're not shocked by this revelation...
Right, calling overpriced items a scam is not understanding marketing. Most people who buy these goods have onboard credit they need to spend or maybe they just want to buy something. I personally, like buy Rayban sunglass in port for $10.00,

Hi all,
We are on the Freedom this coming Monday, and I was curious if these prices are still true at the Seafood Shack.
A few other questions.
Has anyone dined there on the Freedom recently? If so, you know if the oysters are gulf oysters, or they’re cold water oysters? Hoping for the latter.
Is the quantity of lobster on the lobster BLTs equally as sparse as the lobster rolls?
What had everyone enjoyed on the Freedom at the Seafood Shack recently?
Thanks for any help! ☺️
I think those prices are out of date. In November on the Carnival Spirit, a lobster roll was $18.00.So add at least a Lincoln to every price.

I don't know how long ago it was that this happened, but scooters left in the hallways are expressly forbidden. It's a safety hazard.

No chance for HC- they always sell out with a waiting list. If your scooter is within the guidelines it will work. We have a scooter that beaks down for storage if necessary but thankfully it fits without any problem. The Spirit the housekeeping manager stopped by and told us we could leave it in the hall but we didn't.

Just read an article (and it may be media over exaggerating), but apparently passengers are going to get angry because their drinks package has had to alter due to leaving from Norfolk instead of Baltimore.
if this is the case (and not just media hyped bull). I hope every passenger who dares to get angry or boos the staff, takes one moment to actually think and realise why this is having to happen.
the tragedy that happened with the bridge is exactly that a tragedy, people have lost their lives and families are in mourning and you’re going to kick off because you can’t get a certain drink till a little later in the journey.
I’m not saying this is going to happen, but if it does, I find that behaviour unacceptable and reprehensible.
I wonder if paying for a few drinks will really make people that angry. There are already several threads on this.

You definitely want to check out this: New Orleans Hotel Guide: Hilton Riverside
Yeah I'm over there all the time during football season. Early morning before the sun even comes up. I never feel unsafe. The riverwalk. Waldenberg Park. A lot of early morning joggers around there. What I tell people is at night walk on the heavily populated streets as much as possible. I have stayed many time So Poydras, Canal St., St. Charles Ave., etc.
I have stayed many times at the Riverside for both business and pleasure travel. It is always a good option but there are many others too.

I know this has been asked before, but I’m gonna ask anyway.
if you don’t eat in the main dining room, do you need to have gratuities prepaid? And can I have them removed from my state room bill?
I plan on tipping my cabin Stewart in cash and leaving cash tips to the waiters in the specialty restaurants, on the Mardi Gras.
You paid tips upfront for the steakhouse and sushi.

We’ve done att plan but just for voice and text. The included data isn’t very much so also get the WiFi. If your people at home and you both have iPhones iMessage works with WiFi plan even though terms and conditions says it doesn’t.
I found the iMessages did not work reliably for me.

If they can't figure out that non-alcoholic drinks include mocktails, maybe they shouldn't be cruising. What other perfectly clear information can't they figure out?
Sometimes people ask questions because they want to start a conversation. Maybe they were wondering how many 500-calorie drinks make the Cheers program worth it.

No matter what list you find, the brands and types will vary.
