We’re on this cruise leaving on the 22nd. Have really enjoyed your humor and also all of the information you’ve provided. Saving this for reference. Safe travels home.

They could DEFINITELY cut back on the mailings. Heres the thing... if most of us are going to cruise, we are already browsing and planning. Vacations are not something that you can trick people into doing. If it's happening, it's happening. You don't need to mail me postcards.
We get buried in cruise catalogues from AMA waterways, Oceania and Holland. We also get them From America Cruise Line and we’ve never sailed with them. I’ve requested from all of them to stop sending them. It’s a waste of money and a waste of time to have to shred them.

What type of tender boats are they using?

Thank you for all of the helpful information! I am feeling much better about our itinerary change.

Our itinerary on HOL for our 4/3 departure dropped a stop in Avalon and added one in Astoria. I am so disappointed we’re not going to Avalon and don’t know why they changed. Looking for Astoria suggestions. There aren’t any excursions posted yet. Thanks.

We are on a HOL cruise in April and stop in Victoria. There’s an excursion that is sold out so I’m looking for something similar. It’s called Victoria Culinary Walk: In Partnership With Food and Wine Magazine. I’d appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

I am currently on this cruise and wondering why they no longer give you water when leaving the ship. Also we haven’t gotten nightly turn down service or towel animals. Is the demise of these things a product of Covid?

Holland America has us staying one night at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina and the rate is $308 which inc.uses transportation. Considering the short distance I’m wondering if this is reasonably priced or on the high-side. The room rate through the hotel is $246. Thank you for your input.

Thank you for the responses. That’s very helpful.

Does AMA allow you to bring on wine or alcohol that you’ve purchased off the ship? We like to be able to have a glass of wine on the balcony. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. We decided not to drag luggage around after a3 week vacation so public transportation and trains weren't an attractive option to us. We arranged for a cab from the hotel.

We are staying at the Stockholm Sheraton and want to know the best way to get to the airport. Thanks.

I am now on the ship. Decided not to try and take it at the last minute. You’re right there’s not much space on the desk. I do wish we had it because our room has been warm at night I don’t know if it would have been al.pwed or not. Thanks for your responses.

I like to travel with a small
desk top fan. Is that allowed on Oceania and of so would I need an adapter? Thanks.

We depart this week from Southampton on a Baltic cruise on Oceania. We’re spending one.night in London precruise and wanted to purchase wine to take onboard with us. Does anyone have a suggestion of a place with a good selection and reasonable prices? Thank you.

we cruised the Rhine on Ama last Year and loved it. We want to book the Danube for 2019 and it seems Viking is considerably less expensive. I can't determine what constitutes the difference in price. Can anyone tell me? Is there a difference in food or service? Thanks.

we are trying to decide between these two cruises. One ends in Vilshofen before going to Prague and one ends in Nuremberg before going to Prague. Just curious if one is more desirable than the other. Also I think September sounds good, but prices are lower at the end of October. Also Bratislova is bypassed if you go later in The fall. Is it much colder in late Octobermor early November? Thanks for any input you can provide.

Just got back from our cruise. We did the Swim with the Dolphins - not the encounter. It was wonderful! Worth the price!

That second shot in particular is great since it shows how close the pool is to the cruise-ship pier.
The pool is the largest at any Margaritaville in the Caribbean and one of the largest non-resort pools in the region, too.
For those who also crave sand and saltwater, the beach and lots of free loungers (and two rows of rental loungers) is between the Flow-Rider and the ship in this photo. It's THAT close.
Just got back from my fifth visit there and Grand Turk is still my single favorite "relax" cruise port.
Do you have to pay to use the facilities at Margaritaville? We plan to have something merging to eat and drink, but wondered about using chairs, pool etc.

Your lecture was not helpful. Thanks for sharing.
I too would like to know about this excursion. Signed up for it on our cruise next week.

I make a natural pouch out of my back hair and tuck it in there. My wife just stores hers in her tiara.
:o
Now that's cheating quite a visual!:')

We arrive at the Reykjavik airport at 7:00 am. Wondering about the best transportation option to our hotel. Thanks.
