  2. We take a small fan, and have never had any problems. You can also request one from your room steward.

You can only request one if you have a medical condition. I do and I had to argue forever to get one on the Dream. Easier to take my own. They sell small ones at walmart under $10 that are for computer desk that put out a lot of air and are good for the noise issue. Fits great in suitcase.

  3. Download videos before you go and then you can watch whatever you want without connecting to the WiFi. The ship WiFi would be impossible to use to download anything like a movie as it's so slow and expensive. Before we travel I usually download the TV shows my DW won't let me watch at home because she wants to watch HGTV or something similar. I use the travel time to catch up on my favorites i.e. Sons of Anarchy, The Americans, and Breaking Bad.

Where do you download the shows from? I am getting one soon and the main purpose is to be able to watch tv shows and movies that I can download when I cant get internet.

  4. My best friends husband has shattered his heel and cannot put any weight on his foot for a few months. He will be cruising in a wheel chair and crutches. Has anyone been to a port that tenders on crutches or wheel chair? How did they get you in and out of the tender? DO they have beach wheel chairs that they let us use. I remember seeing one when I was there. Any help would be appreciated.

  5. We were supposed to do a cave tubing excursion but knee has been bothering me (arthritis) and DH is worried I may not make the walk or make matters worse. Didn't really see much else to do in Belize besides shop. Also considered Altun Ha but just not sure if we want to do that.

Considering just tendering into port for a bit, shopping a little and returning to the ship. Besides eating, is there anything going on onboard while the Dream will be in this port? Does anyone have a fun times from that port please?

Also, does anyone know if there is somewhere at the Belize port that we can buy some pineapple rum? I tasted some at a jewelry party a few years back and it was delicious! Would love to buy some while there.

Thanks for any help, we leave in 4 days and I'm beyond excited!

We booked to a island through Coral Breeze and had a great time. Here is the link

http://www.coralbreezetours.com/current_category.23/gallery_list.htmlk. You do not have to leave the cruise port.

  6. Just got back a few weeks ago and we rented a cabana. It was the second time we have been there and rented one. We booked late and I was put on a waiting list so I didnt have many to choose from. Ended up with number 3 and it was not good. Talk about rude people. We had a whole family move in next to us to be in the shade. That is completely understandable but their actions were not.

They literally sat on the side of our cabana, climbed on the railing leaning into it for the air conditioning. Used our shower whenever they felt like it. When I used the shower they smarted off that I was splashing them.

Came into the cabana when we left it to cool off and look around. Used fowl language all day and smoked like chimneys. They looked at us like I dare you to say a thing. I am normally very mouthy but this family you just knew not to say anything. We had to take turns staying in it to protect our stuff.

Then to top that off, people were moving the lounge chairs closer and closer completely blocking our entrance to our cabana. One older couple literally put their chairs up against the lattice in the front and used the entrance steps as their private table. I did say something but they just looked at me like idiots. They would not remove their stuff so every time I came back I kicked sand off my feet at them. OOPS!

Once back on the ship I went to the excursion desk and told them what happened and asked if I can go on a reserve one farther down the beach when we go back in October. They let me I just hope they stick to it.
