Just wondering, what is the cage like structure on the top deck in the front of the ship? I was looking at another picture of the Silhouette and just noticed this.

Looks like you might run in to some turbulence over Florida. Hope you are having a safe flight!

I appreciate everyone tuning in for the first night, pre cruise to Celebrity Silhouette. It's off to bed as I have an early flight, leaving at 7:20am from O'Hare.

Woohoo! I've actually followed the construction of both Oasis and Allure, used to come home from school and check the web for any new updates! It just became a routine after a while! :D

Woohoo! Going great, I'm loving the format because I can sit here on my couch in NY (we are having awful weather in the 30's with snow on and off all day) and pretend I'm on a caribbean cruise!

BTW, I saw the Mac Air in one of your pictures! HUGE Apple fan so I really liked the pictures with the iPhone 5 and Mac in them! :D

P.S. You should look into the Freedom Class on Royal, I have a feeling you would love those ships!

Just started reading this tonight and my laptop battery was at 1% when I was getting towards the end and I just had to get out of my warm, cozy bed to plug it in just to read the end and write to you!

Keep up the great work, can't wait to see all the wonderful pictures you must have! I am also an avid (& amateur) guy who loves photography! Hope I can do a review as good as yours for my first Allure trip in June! :D

Hey everyone, just wondering how large the safe's are on Allure of the Seas. Thinking about bringing a DSLR camera but only if it can fit in the safe! Anyone else ever bring a large camera, have any tips?

AWESOME review!! I went on the Freedom in 2006 when she was new, this ship started my obsession for cruising! I just love everything about this ship, it is my favorite i've been on so far.

Loved the pictures by the way, brought back a lot of good memories! :)

Taking a Med cruise is on my list of MUST-DO's within the next 10 years. I am trying to convince my dad that we should take one next year in celebration of my graduation!
