Anyone have information about the Destination Highlight:Essential St. Kitts excursion?
The description advises beach attire and a towel, yet there is no mention of any beach activity.
What about the Two Island Triple Play? Any comments on that excursion?
We are not interested in beach activities, so any insight is appreciated.

Thank you for your replies.
I guess we will find room in the suitcase for his suit. Perhaps I can eliminate a pair or two of my shoes!

This fall we have a Tauck river cruise planned. Sport coat and tie are advised for gentlemen for a dinner or two.
DH would prefer to get by with just a dress shirt and tie…a coat adds over two pounds to our luggage.
Could someone who has done the “Blue Daube” cruise please advise me as to what the fellows actually wore?
Thank you!

Condolences on your loss.
Thank you for posting. -
I have a couple of reversible dresses from White House Black Market. (Navy/Floral and Burgundy/Animal print) They pack well, but are rather heavy.

There was no Johnny Walker Black (only red) available on the Apex a week ago. Rather disappointing! They claimed supplier issues. And to add insult to injury, they had Black for sale in the shop on board.

I have been more comfortable using the self-serve laundry facilities on river boats. The cruise ship laundry can be rather harsh.

Were any sort of breakfast items offered before the very early trip to the airport?
-
Tauck has rescheduled our trip, but our itinerary will be in the opposite direction.

Safe, happy and healthy sailing!
We have enjoyed the Edge twice, Eastern Caribbean escapes from Michigan winters.😊
Looking forward to the Apex next January.
Bon voyage!🛳

Just off the Edge this week, only noticed a few changes:
1) a proper shower door has replaced the partial glass partition/shower curtain combo in the Sky Suites
2) as often mentioned, the rocking chair has been removed from the Sky Suites, replaced by a round cocktail table (which may vary from room to room - different bases)
3) concierge desk in the Retreat Lounge has been moved to the side (toward the restrooms), eliminating congestion in the entryway
4) the “platform” in the middle of the floor in Eden was removed, leaving a much more shin-friendly level area

A great resource, so generous with her insight and knowledge! May Marilyn Rest In Peace, rejoicing in Paradise!

The end of June, beginning of July, the seas were extremely calm! Only one night was there much motion, and that wasn’t side to side. (Personally, I slept right through it.) Our Iceland trip was through Tauck. I found the Tauck representatives to be wonderful. The dining room on Le Champlain was not well organized, and I found the food a bit bland and disappointing.
Iceland is so very interesting, quite unlike other places we have had the good fortune to visit.

I am eager to see their collections. It should be interesting when they have free rein to decide what to do, not having to conform to the dictates of a particular challenge. Will Christian be visiting them “at home” to mentor them?
-
It does seem like Christian is influencing more than some mentors have done.

Comfort to all who loved him. RIP, Walt...Rest In Peace, Rejoice in Paradise!

I suppose “elegant” can be a bit subjective, but... Hester certainly took advantage of having immunity. She may be able to do some amazing construction, but her taste certainly is different from mine! I liked the winning look, though I am not sure it would be practical. So often I find myself asking how a car seat belt would work with some of those garments.

SeaBunny, it sounds like you CAN design! Would love to see “your “ hoodie! Luxe street wear, to be sure!

Still wearing a pair of Clark’s purchased for my first trip to Europe (2008). I am afraid they should soon be retired! A Mary Jane sort of style, they did well on varying terrain.
Ecco sandals are my go-to for warmer climates.

Thank you, Turtles06. Glad to know I have the right idea.

Traveling with Tauck on a Ponant vessel this June. Any advice regarding footwear/rain gear? I know layers are practical attire, but boots? Shoes? Sneakers? Suggestions are appreciated!

Duplicate, sorry

I guess that I will never be much of a fashionista...that “stylist” usually looks to me like she just crawled out of bed. Perhaps I will always be a conservative Midwesterner. But I do enjoy the show!
Please tell me about the running track on Beyond
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
For whatever reason, the track is labeled with “Run” on the right and “Walk” on the left.
