It’s a continuous loop and 5 laps = a mile. People are mostly good about keeping to the right when walking but there are some times where people stop on the track to take a pic. I love the track and it’s a daily use for me when on the E class ships.

For whatever reason, the track is labeled with “Run” on the right and “Walk” on the left.

  2. Anyone have information about the Destination Highlight:Essential St. Kitts excursion?

The description advises beach attire and a towel, yet there is no mention of any beach activity.

What about the Two Island Triple Play?  Any comments on that excursion?

We are not interested in beach activities, so any insight is appreciated.

  3. This fall we have a Tauck river cruise planned.  Sport coat and tie are advised for gentlemen for a dinner or two.

DH would prefer to get by with just a dress shirt and tie…a coat adds over two pounds to our luggage.

Could  someone  who has done the “Blue Daube” cruise please advise me as to what the fellows actually wore?

    Thank you!

  4. Just off the Edge this week, only noticed a few changes:

    1) a proper shower door has replaced the partial glass partition/shower curtain combo in the Sky Suites

    2) as often mentioned, the rocking chair has been removed from the Sky Suites, replaced by a round cocktail table (which may vary from room to room - different bases)

    3) concierge desk in the Retreat Lounge has been moved to the side (toward the restrooms), eliminating congestion in the entryway

    4) the “platform” in the middle of the floor in Eden was removed, leaving a much more shin-friendly level area

  5. The end of June, beginning of July, the seas were extremely calm! Only one night was there much motion, and that wasn’t side to side. (Personally, I slept right through it.) Our Iceland trip was through Tauck. I found the Tauck representatives to be wonderful. The dining room on Le Champlain was not well organized, and I found the food a bit bland and disappointing.

Iceland is so very interesting, quite unlike other places we have had the good fortune to visit.

  6. I am eager to see their collections. It should be interesting when they have free rein to decide what to do, not having to conform to the dictates of a particular challenge. Will Christian be visiting them “at home” to mentor them?

  7. I suppose “elegant” can be a bit subjective, but... Hester certainly took advantage of having immunity. She may be able to do some amazing construction, but her taste certainly is different from mine! I liked the winning look, though I am not sure it would be practical. So often I find myself asking how a car seat belt would work with some of those garments.
