Good evening from the UK Our mobile phones do not have coverage for Canada. Can anyone please advise on purchasing a SIM card at the airport (we are arriving in Calgary). We will be in Canada for the first 10 days (Rocky Mountaineer) and then Alaska for 16 days (cruising north, Denali and then cruising south) and then Vancouver and Seattle. Any advice would be appreciated. Also if we do buy a SIM card in Canada will it also cover USA? Stay safe and well and happy cruising.

Can anyone tell me about the laundry service on Niew Amsterdam please. Do you get charged per item or can you fill a bag. I did call HAL and I was given the impression it was per item but I have read on Facebook that some people are talking about as much laundry as you want for $49. Another post was a bag for $20. Could it be different for American/Canadian guests to European guests?

Just following on from my last reply, I ordered mine yesterday and they are being delivered today by DPD. When you book your observed appointment make sure you adjust the time zone (top right of screen there is a drop down box). I have booked appointments for June and there are plenty available. DO NOT open or register your your test until the monitored appointment. The appointment is for one person only so I have booked 7.12-7.24 and then 7.24-7.36 for my husband. Hope that helps.

Morning Welshrich We are using Project Screen by Prenetics to be bought in the UK and delivered by DPD and are £30 each. They do have to be monitored and you book an appointment to be observed by a telehealth consultant so you will need WiFi access. They are FDA authorised. Hope you have a fabulous trip.
