1.
But coffee is free of charge at Mosaic. It is only the specialty coffees with alcohol shots and the Nespresso that is charged for. I agree the windows cafe coffee is not great but the standard coffee served at Mosaic is lovely. I find no need to pay for Nespresso
Thank goodness for that. I am looking forward to my regular 7.00am Latte [takeaway] each morning in August when we circumnavigate the Black Sea.
2. I did book through a TA. He spent several hours on the phone with Azamara on Monday. It is Azamara's IT that needs to fix these reservations. Unfortunately, it appears that they do not have the capacity to do this.

As a first time Azamara cruiser, Im not getting the warm fuzzies over their inability to fix their own web site. I hope the people who run the ship are more competent :)

Don't worry about the on-board situation, it will be wonderful.

Things are very very consistent at Azamara or at least they have been for the fours years we have been cruising with them.

Shoreside their service is crap and they consistently give out false information promise everything and deliver very little.

On-board they give the cruise of a lifetime each and every time year in year out.

PS Our next cruise is the Black Sea one 20 Aug 14. It can't come quickly enough.

3. I have a cruise booked on the Summit for February 2015. TA is telling me that she can't get the 123 promo added to my booking because it is for new bookings only. I also told her to cancel and rebook, and she said Celebrity is watching for this and it will be caught:(

Tell her to take the risk and rebook. At this time last year I had the same problem but with a bit of pressure from me I got the Drinks Package from the 123 Promotion added and I was able to retain the same room. To retain the room was very important because the original cost was very low.

My TA though was based in the States whilst a I am based in New Zealand.

4. We are in the same situation-booked in November for Jan 2015 and have missed the 123 promo and the Solstice 5th birthday special. TA says there is nothing to be done. Different rules for Australia as opposed to the US simply down to competition-Celebrity charges us here in Oz higher prices and provides fewer benefits because it can, and still make a profit. Other bigger markets require it to be much more competitive. That being said, we LOVED our Celebrity cruise to Bermuda last year, and can't wait for our next one.

To all you Australians. Teach the Australian arm of Royal Caribbean a lesson and bypass them in the future by booking in the States through one of the many websites.

Last year I was able to take advantage of the 123 offer well after I had originally booked and paid. I actually paid the full fare up front to lock in the exchange rate so if there was a situation that they could have said "no" was then, because they had the money, but they didn't.

We had a wonderfully cost effective cruise of the Med on Celebrity Refection. 10 days, Classic drinks package included and all gratuities paid for just under US 2000.00 per person.

5. Thank you for the the photos. We are booked on Refection Deck 6 (30 Aug 13) so we now know what to expect! I have been 'sweating' about the level of 'obstruction' and even contacted the TA to enquire about changing. However owing to the reasonably expensive cost to upgrade we are staying put. You have made me relaxed and reasonably happy.

6. Hi Larry,

Please confirm for me the conflicting messages that I am getting from your web site outlining the 2013 enhancements. It reads:

Dining Experience
Freshly brewed cup of Nespresso bespoke coffee for purchase at Mosaic Cafe.

More Inclusive Amenities
Bottled water, soft drinks, specialty coffees and teas throughout the Ships.

During our last three cruises, the Mosaic Cafe served [no charge] specialty coffees and teas etc which we really loved.

Are you now about to make us pay for the coffee and tea at the Mosaic Cafe and if so why, when the new policy is all about more inclusive amenities?

Hopefully you are not! .

But if you are, then in my opinion it is a retrograde step.

Regards

7. Whist berthed in Cititavecchia in August 2012 we wanted to do Rome thus we needed to find an excursion company who could deliver the maximum in the minimum amount of time as our ship was scheduled to sail at 6.00pm and we wanted to see everything we could in the one day as that was all the time that we had.

I search all the tour operators and settled on Share a Shore Excursion in Italy as they seemed to offer the most at a reasonable price.

We settled on their, 'The Best of Rome Tour with skip the line tickets and a Guide for the Vatican'.

Two of us were from one ship [Azamara Quest] and the other four were from another ship [Liberty of the Seas] yet bringing it all together on the Web Site was quite easy although I did have to wait for a few days for the others to join the group that I set up. [ Go into the site and you will see what I mean.]

In summary the service that Share a Shore Excursion provided was excellent. Their Driver arrived early and was waiting for us even though we were early too. That got us of to a flying start which was important given the time constraint that we were under.

The tour delivered even sites more than we were promised, yet we had sufficient time at each!

Having front of the line tickets is a must, as is a guide for the Vatican if you are short of time.

Even thought it is not cheap to do it the way we did, great service was provided and the tour ran like clockwork.

Finally I must make mention of our driver 'Big Luca' who was interesting, informative and very entertaining.

Would I use them again? Certainly.
