I booked a cruise last Sunday and the travel agent offered me 10% on any excursion if i booked with them.

We sailed the Adriatic explorer on the Majesty last year, the itinary is fantastic, every port is really nice.

Majesty is a lovely friendly ship, my only complaint was the buffet restaurant wasn't up to scratch, simple as, the food was cold and not very interesting, also not enough places to eat your meal once you had it.

The cabins are also tiny if you don't upgrade, sounds like i am moaning, but i don't mean to really, we had a brilliant time aboard the Majesty.

Please try the Adriatic, it's a beautiful trip.

Just booked the Dream for 20th Sept, long way off i know but it gives us something to look forward to.
Been on the Dream once before, just before they gave it a facelift and it was quite nice then.

:) im all booked to go on the 1st november , just thinking about doing the day trip but still unsure as £30 each seems a bit steep for a few hours out , just wanted to know if u can catch a local bus anywhere

 

If you mean Rhodes town, there is a hop on hop off in the port, i think it was 14 euro each, takes you everywhere around town.

Some nice restaurants just over the road as well, i can't remember the exact name, but it was .....something square.

As an "experieced cruiser" of 3 cruises.

Take the right international plug adapter, or preferably one of each.

There was a large queue on the Escape in December of men whose wives had washed their hair and couldn't dry it. :D

And bring an extension lead with 4 plugs on to charge up all your stuff.

Just picking up on this tip, i was in ASDA this morning and they are selling a 4 plug socket without the cable, it just has a plug on top of a row of 4 sockets, it weighs absolutely next to nothing and is really

compact, perfect for all of your chargers and hairdryers etc.

Best part??? ........cost £2.25 :)
