And taking more time to turn around making it later. These extra minutes could be the difference between making a flight and missing it.

I agree. If I was paying that much for a cruise It would take all the enjoyment from it. I am quite happy to leave the money in the bank and wait until they return to sensible levels.

We only go on Lobster night. The Windjammer has a much better selection and is faster. We always go for my time and have never told them we won't be dining.

Just a guess but, you're new to Royal Caribbean, aren't you?
100 days Diamond and I did not get here paying these crazy prices there asking

Is it a sign of desperation that as soon as one sale finishes another starts. Prices are double what they normally are yet they have the chutzpah to con people into thinking that prices have been cut.

Due to Covid there seems to be a lot more open space and grass than the original plan.
More Outdoor Space Than Originally Designed
An Indoor/Outdoor Marketplace and shopping area is being built including Hair Braiding Salons acknowledging current and future physical distancing requirements. More outdoor design was set in place as soon as COVID started impacting the project.

So they don't check the QR codes on the test result printout or on the I Phone? A QR code which would be near impossible to fake wouldn't it.
Cvs test results do not have a QR code

Best thing on the tv is the bridge camera with music the rest is rubbish and of zero interest.

Due to HIPPA laws the testing site is not allowed to discuss your tests with the cruise line

Do you think that Nassau deliberately dock ships opposite ways so the smoke from the funnels blow across the decks of the adjacent ship to make it very unpleasant to lay on the top deck and thus encourage people to leave the the ship and spend money in their port. This always ruined sunbathing for me in Nassau and could be the only reason they do it.

And yet, it is NOT billionaires or millionaires LIVING on the island. Everyone working there lives somewhere else.
All food supplies, beverages, tools etc. come out from other islands. They all have families to take care of and other things that need to be done in light of the storm. Please don't complain about your olfactory sensitivity and squishy feet feel. Six months from now you MAY have a minor case to be taken up with island management. When I'm there in February, I might back you up. Right now, hold your nose, were sneakers and grin and bear it.
Pay for outside contractors to come and remove the seaweed job done simple stop making this a criticism of the staff and people.

Many replies here are missing the point. This is not a third world country. It is a luxury island owned by a billion dollar company. All the problems can be fixed very quickly if you spend the money. To use other islands problems as an excuse is pathetic and easy way for RC not to spend the money.

@Gary1960 Have you reached out to RCCL directly either by visiting Guest Services, the Call Center, or social media? While some folks here may appreciate the heads up. RCCL probably isn't looking at CC for thoughts on this...
Also, there have been reports of unusually high sargassum blooms in recent years. Therefore, while they could dredge today, it may be back in a few days. They have been dealing with it on the beaches in Florida.
I was there 3 weeks ago and it was perfect. I was there yesterday and there is 2 foot deep slime that you have to walk through and it does not improve much the further out you go. The resort looks pretty good most of the new tall palm are now supported with wood and the balloon is still deflated.

@Gary1960 While I understand the "EW Factor" it's been less than a week. Can we hold off on the criticism of something that was outside of their control?
Its not out of their control now to get rid of it. I am back there in 3 weeks on the Harmony and I hope it has been removed by then.

The hurricane has pushed up a lot of seaweed into the beach areas. It feels disgusting underfoot and the stench of rotten eggs is overpowering. They need to dredge this out asap.

My last cruise was on Harmony. They had Jazz on 4 and it was incredible. Does The Carnival Magic cater for live jazz lovers

The straws were next to the freestyle machines with the Ice and water machines in the windjammer.
-
You can get a longer straw at the Starbucks kiosk on Oasis and Allure.
That's annoying I went all week on the Harmony having to remove the cup lid to get the straw. Thanks for that info.
-
The cups are 8 inch the straws are 8 inch so annoyingly you have to take the top off to get to your straw so take some straws longer than 8 inch

Just got of the Harmony and asked for the curry menu. The waiter said there was not one. So I asked for a meat curry. He said they could not do it. After nasty argument with him and his boss they eventually gave me a chicken curry. The following nights they provided fish, chicken and lobster curries together with chilli sauce to heat them up.

Will try
Even the customer support could not access my booking on the public web page.
A puzzlement.....
Julie
It seems that if you try internet explorer and can't get in this locks it for a short period. Use Firefox private window before anything else after it unlocks.

Use Firefox and a new private window. This is the only way I can access my booking.

Just think its costing them $10000 for these seats. What would you rather have.
Nassau Palm Trees pulled up
in Bahamas

Just noticed they have pulled up many palmtrees around the excursion docks that they only planted last year. I wonder if they are doing more construction
This development has been very disappointing and does not entice me to get off the ship.
