We just enjoyed a week in a Havana Cabana on the Panorama. Really enjoyed the experience. I'm wondering if anyone else has been in this area yet that would like to share their experience. TIA
The area on the Mardi Gras is totally different, the pool is very small and they cram a lot of chairs in a smaller area than the Panorama and remember they have a lot more Havana rooms on the Mardi Gras.

If your outside the first and last day are chilly but indoors is fine.

There is no longer a propulsion issue the ship was coming back at 21.5 knots from Cabo so it’s just an excuse. The ship was sitting outside Long Beach by 6 am waiting.

I think you need to wait until onboard since Cucina is an extension of main dining.
No you don’t have to wait till you board.

I have been following the recent Panorama cruises since we leave on Saturday for three weeks on board. With the itinerary changes the ship is not scheduled to dock until 9 am at least through the October 9th sailing. I remember one person reporting that they were in an early group and on the way to LGB at about 10:20.
I’m on Oct. 30 and got the email about the slower speed.

Can you tell me what time debarking started with the reduced speed the panorama has . I have a 1040 flight out of Long Beach and I’m wondering if I should change it to 1250. Thanks

[/url] Posted 43 minutes ago Hey everyone, I apologize if this has previously been asked but we are booked on Vista Nov. 21st. Our final pmt is due Sept 7th. Our question to those who have lived thru this already is, if (as we expect will happen) our cruise is cancelled, will we be offered the $600 OBC if we have only paid our deposit or is the $600 only offered once you have paid your balance in full? Thank you for your responses!
Yes you will, that just happened to us we rebooked and got $650 OBC. CARNIVAL WAS GIVING $50 OBC.

Yes you can.

The final payment is now about 30 days instead of 90 days, but your cruise will be cancelled anyway so wait for the $600 OBC.

I cancelled one of my 14 day cruises 2 weeks before Carnival cancelled it. Has anyone had any luck being able to get the $600 OBC that would have been received for rebooking in this situation?
Why would you do that? Now you want the 600 obc.[emoji42]

Of course Carnival will follow, and of course John Heald will deny it.

Hi
Can anyone who has rented one of the
Sanctuary (Not retreat pool) cabanas answer the following:-
If it is windy do they give adequate shelter?
If it rains are they waterproof i.e are you still able to sit inside?
Finally, are they worth the extra money?
TIA
Just avoid the last sea day because it’s very windy and chilly.

How do you even know if they have officially been sold? Maybe a buyer is simply “looking” at the opportunity of purchasing? What if they simply wanted to send a ship there — just because?
Carnival remains very confident in their statement suggesting that any cruise ships operating under the Carnival Cruise Line brand to be sold or scrapped, if any, have not yet been identified.
Reservations, deposits and final payments are still being accepted for cruises beginning on October 2 or later including the Fantasy on October 3.
We don’t have any reason to doubt them. Carnival has been known to act in good faith and not use deceitful tactics.
Based on the information provided, we do not have enough details to reach an accurate conclusion. If you have any questions, you should consult Carnival, your PVP or John Heald. It’s always recommended to keep checking Carnival.com for any travel advisories, notices and operation updates.
John Heald ? really he gives you nothing but stale non funny jokes and after everything gets posted by other sources then he will post something .

After her summer 2021 Alaska season she will winter in LA doing Mexican Riviera and California Coastal sailings. So I will be interested to see if Princess make any changes to the ship to remove Chinese signage, change the Hollywood Conservatory to a more usual Sanctuary area, change out some dining venues (Noodle Bar and Lobster Grill for Slice and Salty Dog Grill for example), open up Crooners and get rid of the divider screens, Change Harmony Chinese to Sabatini's, etc. While some of these venues were fine for the Autralian home market ona seasonal basis, if she is going to be homeported in North America year-round, many US/Canadian consumers would expect her to be more similar to Royal/Regal. This decision to move her to the North american market still sort of baffles me.
Totally agree with all your points.

Majestic Princess does not have a Sanctuary. They have the Hollywood Conservatory.
Thanks that is a big minus for us because we love the sanctuary on the Royal and Regal.

Since it's coming to the west coast we were looking at the deck plans and we did not see a sanctuary, are we missing it? Thanks in advance.

My October 24th Panorama cruise suddenly disappeared from Carnival's search engine. It was there last night.. I have a bad feeling. Exactly they have not said "limited capacity" So if it was a limited capacity whenever somebody cancels their cruise would there an opening for another booking?
