  1. They have hopefully cancelled the cruise. We had to cancel a cruise the night before. RCI gave me a number to call and the insurance company e-mailed me the forms. I filled them out, had the doctor fill out the form, sent all they wanted to the insurance company. We got everything back except the cost of the insurance.

I hope your aunt recovers quickly.

    Thank you!!

They called first thing this morning, ship sailing today. They were waiting for the surgeon to confirm she needed surgery before they canceled, but, they did and they are on their way home.

    Thank you for the info!

  2. So my sister and aunt were supposed to board Adventure today for a 14 night trip, but, my aunt slipped and broke her shoulder. They just left the hospital on their way to catch a flight home. They DID get the cruise insurance offered through Royal Caribbean. Does anyone have any experience with this? They are keeping all their receipts. Any recommendations they should do? Will they have any issues with their claim?

    Thank you in advance.

My aunt's shoulder will need surgery :( no fun for them.

  3. We are doing our first Disney cruise and we really don’t want to bring our 2 year old’s car seat, but, how do we get from the airport to Port Canaveral without it? It will be our 2 year olds first flight, so we figure he can sit in the middle seat, his car seat might not bee to comfortable for a flight from California or Orlando. Are there transportation options where we don’t need a car seat?

Thank you all for your help!!

  4. Just booked our first Disney Cruise (we have a 2 year old). I have tons of questions.

We sail Jan. 12, 2019 on Fantasy

    1) when can we book reservations for different dinners

    2) we were placed on late sitting for dinner, we want to get on early seating, will it open up? Do you think we can get on early seating before the cruise or once we get on board?

    3) We want to do a date night without our son, he is 2, is the nursery pretty good? How quick do they fill up?

    4) what activities are a must do on this cruise/ship?

What else do we need to know about our first Disney Cruise???

  5. Anyone with recent experience with the Embarkation time for Imagination? This is our first time cruising with Carnival so we'd love to know what time we can actually board! It does say the time to embark is 1:00pm - 4:00pm, is this correct? Can you board before this time?

We are on the April 7th sailing!

    Thank you all!

  6. Thanks. I knew about happy hour but I wasn't sure about lunch. We usually do Park Cafe for lunch but we're exploring other options. We might even do Giovanni's. Can you tell me what type of food is being served in the CL at lunch?

Edit: Sorry just found the pics of the menu. Thanks again.

Can you please share the pictures of the menu?? Thank you!! :)

  7. I would try to change to another deck, due to potential noise from above. Royal usually lets you change to any available stateroom within the same exact category you have been assigned.

Agree.... I did a guarantee and once the cabin was assigned I found another cabin I liked better within the same category. See if you like another location better!!

  8. I'm going to be sailing with some friends on Allure of the Seas in October. As part of a fun activity for them, when I was on Allure in August, I took a bunch of pictures with the goal to make a kind of scavenger hunt where the goal is to find out what the pictures are and where they were taken onboard.

Like I said, I took a bunch of pictures and as a game, it's a bit long. Plus, I'm concerned that some of the images may be too challenging. So, I'm looking for help from people who are going to be sailing on Allure of the Seas (or perhaps who have already sailed and might want to see whether they recognize the pictures).

I've put the pictures into a downloadable and printable PDF here: http://www.bluevine.net/Allure-Scavenger-Hunt.pdf

Feel free to take a look at this and give it a try. I'd really appreciate the feedback! I've included my e-mail address in the PDF so you can let me know directly what you think.

After I'm finished tweaking the file, I'll put the final result up for people to download, as well as a corresponding answer PDF.

    Thank you all very much!

    Hi Marc,

I was on Allure a year ago and I'm going next week. I was thinking of printing out your list and seeing if I can go find them. I'm pretty sure, just from being there one time, I could find most of them now. From the quick look I don't think it's too difficult. I'll try to remember to print it out before we leave and see if we can find everything!!

  9. I haven't been able to get into my reservation since this morning.. keep seeing this.. any idea why? (yes, I called, couldn't wait that long on hold)

We're sorry, but we are unable to retrieve your booking information at this time. For assistance, please call 866-562-7625.

I've been getting that message for the past several days and before that it was giving me the "timed out" message. I haven't been able to get on to my reservation for a few weeks now.

Hope to find out what the issue is as well.
