I am sorry to hear your friend is having health issues. i hope they have a speedy recovery. If I im not mistaken the only 2 options is to do what you suggested OR if you are the primary person you can change the 2nd person in the room and the new person would just pay your friend the half they paid. I am not sure how many days out that has to be finalized. Someone else may have that answer on here Good Luck

Thanks for the info. I guess its more of an illusion. From a side view it looks like they are out quite a bit i guess due to the design but the video shows they only stick out a few feet.

I have never done Oasis class and i was looking at a Deck 6 or 7 balcony but I dont want to be directly above a life boat. Any idea of where you would be able to look down and see all water and not the top of a bright yellow boat? Or am i out of luck?

I have never had any confusion about Muster on any of my cruises. We have always had crew giving direction all over the ship on pool decks, on the stair cases. They even check the seapass if you are confused where to go. I think Royal doing it outside is important because thats where we need to be in an actual emergency WHERE THE LIFE BOATS ARE not in the air condition. Be thankful we dont have to carry those HUGE awkward life jackets anymore. That was VERY HOT.

I am going to Cozumel and wanted to get opinions about beach resorts. There will be 5 ships in port including Oasis. I have been to Mr Sanchos before and wondered if I have witnessed the best already or if anyone recommends anything else.

I did a mock booking and i saw 4 people to an interior on deck 10 was 3541.96 for 4 people. If I do 2 interior rooms on deck 3 its 3316.00. That gives you 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms with a $230 savings. You may consider that?

More specifically, I was wondering if Royal has any sort of program or service where they can provide a photographer to help capture the moment. There will only be the 2 of us onboard in our group, and would love to have photographs of the proposal! If so, who would I contact to arrange the details?

What if you take a go pro with you and a mini tri pod. I have one that has flexible legs and is about 6" tall) Set it up in a hidden spot a few minutes before you do it and that way you will have it on video with her reaction and all.

Also depending on where you do it, Room stewards, waiters, staff etc... usually go out of their way to make you happy. Slipping them some extra cash they can propably take a few pics with your own camera.

I think the Kids sail free is BOGUS. I have looked at 3 different sailings all within the date range and the booking with a child goes up $400-$600 depending on the sailing over just the 2 of us in balcony

I have heard this before of not getting points unless you go on the trip but I do feel its unfair since you paid in full with no refund. It would be crazy for someone to pay for a trip and not attend it to move up in points. People with that kind of money to blow dont need points.

Can someone tell me the difference between the VOOM Surf + Stream Voyage Pacage VS The VOOM Surf Voyage package? Is one faster? I thought VOOM was VOOM.

I have seen in some cases where the priority line was longer than the regular.

i also agree about St John (Trunk bay) for a beautiful beach and some snorkeling. If you dont want to ride ferry to St John, Meagans bay in St Thomas is not bad either. St Maarten is a Maho beach must. The beach is kinda small but the scenery is nice with the planes landing directly over you. Sunset Beach bar is right there with food, drinks and wifi.

Anyone know why Anthem is only doing 6 knots? Is there damage to props or engine issues? Just got passed by a cargo ship doing 12.7 knots.

The price doesnt sound too bad for 12 days but its a $2000 jump for a little more room and double points. Its sounds like a lot to me but if thats what you want go for it.
