Last time I did not get pictures of the breakfast pizza. Actually, I think this was the first time I saw them. I wanted to try it, but I was sick, and I was afraid of making it worse.

And remember that I said that they have some really good items all the way to the front of the buffet. That is where the eggs benedict were hiding.

I decided to get one since they didn't have any smoke salmon. That is what got me sick on the Carnival Victory. The odds of the ham getting me sick were low.

Then I went to get mine.

Mom had told me that she did not find hard boiled eggs, so I got her one.

After that I continued looking for my food.

After a little while we went to the buffet to get some breakfast.

First time I said that, LoL.

It was our last that of a 7 day cruise, and this was the first time that we had a port on the last day. I will be honest and say that I don’t care for it. The last day I usually spend taking pictures that I missed and relaxing. On this cruise it felt like I was always running on the last day, and in the end, I never managed to accomplish everything that I needed to do.

I woke up and I was still feeling a bit ill, I knew then that it would be a no booze day.

I did my usual morning routine.

Mom was telling me how she stayed up late talking to a nice Cuban lady at O’sheehans. Which reminds me, we never saw that many Spanish people, maybe 10% of the entire passengers?

She also told me that Ro saw her there and refilled her coke for her. Ro works from 8:30 till 11:30, although some days her shifts are cut, like on the last day of the cruise.

I also forgot to mention that I had black and blues all over my arms from sleeping in such a compact space.

Day 7

We have booked this cruise for June 2017 and it will be our first ever with NCL. We are regulars with RCI but we couldn't resist the price for this one so thought we'd give it a go. We are slightly nervous as it is also our first time to the Caribbean and our first in a aft balcony.

What would your comparison be of NCL/RCI?

You should be fine, the two lines definitely have their differences, but is what is what makes them unique.

When the review is done, I will post a conclusion, I usually tend to do a lot of comparisons there :)

What flavor wings did Ty order? I didn't like the "Jamacian Jerk" but the "Buffalo" was good.

 

I didn't try the Texas BBQ or the Thai Chili.

Ummm, I am not sure. Maybe he will read your question. He said that they just did not taste right.

Mom went to watch the Brat pack fully, and I went to 5 o’clock to meet with them. But by then my stomach was a real mess.

I did not stay long there, I really wasn’t feeling well.

On the way to the room, I remembered mom overheard some people complaining about the mirrors in the stairs. They said that they make things quite confusing. Especially for the drunk folks :D

I made it back to the room and mom was not there. Of course she walked in around midnight and turned all the lights on and woke me up :D LoL

Day 6, End.

After that I went to H2O to check out what was going on.

I think they were showing Everest.

I think that steak might have been better than cagney's fillet, at least it looks more juicy.

The salmon looked quite good.

Here was our bill for the night. Service was good that night, but overall it was not our best dinner. Most people talk so good about this venue, but for us it was just ok. And I am not even mentioning what those oysters did to me.

After that I went to check out the buffet offering for dinner for the review.

Potatoes Gratin, they were good I guess. I just ate a little. Mainly because I was feeling my stomach starting to rebel and all that cheese would not have been the best.

Sweet corn was excellent.

Mushrooms.

And the truffle fries, they were ok I guess. I think that we just ordered way too much food. But my favorite of all the sides was the sweet corn.

For dessert mom got a berry creme brulle. I passed on dessert.

My rack of lamb was excellent! Sooooo succulent!!!!

Mom got the surf and turf. The lobster was good, but the steak quite dry for a medium rare. Not impressed... The Wagyu beef of Bayamo DESTROYS Cagney's!!!

Mom got the lobster bisque, it was just ok, nothing out of this world.

I got the oysters rockefeller. Someone else in the group had recommended them to me, I think they had it the night before.

I really should have known better than to eat week old oysters… I would pay dearly for that later that day and the next day…

We had a great table.

I really liked the pattern on the carpet.

I got a dirty martini. You can still see my unfinished Gin on the background :D

Here is the wine list. It is quite extensive!

I asked for a table outside, but she told me that there was a wait for those. She then told me that she had a really good window table, so I thought that would be good as well.

Then they brought us to one of the aft tables, it had an incredible view!

After a little while mom came down and we went for our dinner at Cagney’s.

Then I went upstairs to get changed, and then went back down to 5’oclock to meet with the gang.

After that I met with Ty and Su at o’sheehans, they were having a quick dinner.

Su did not care for her hot dog.

And neither did Ty with his wings.
