I use a clear luggage tag on my luggage, no problem.
I believe it is all online now. I always received that info by email.

I can only answer #1. It is a permanent restaurant on the Koningsdam.
-
3. The Hydro Pool is in the spa. You need to pay to use it.

There was a Dive In on the NA in November.

Have you asked HAL to price out airfare? We did for our flights to Amsterdam and from Rome. We could not find anything ourselves that was anywhere near what HAL could get for us. We saved more than half.

I have been on the Nieuw Amsterdam, which is the sister ship to the Eurodam, so this info should be the same.
1. Yes, the buffet is on the Lido deck, as is the Dive In, serving burgers and hot dogs. I believe the pizza is served on deck above the Lido.
2. We rented a cabana at the Lido pool for the week and thoroughly enjoyed it, but others will say it is a waste of money. Everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to spend their money on.
There were plenty of loungers available around the pool when we were on. There is also room to eat.

Yes, at the Lido pool

I agree with RuthC. I have had to ask for help due to a temporary situation and once I admitted I needed it and asked it got much easier. I have had a hip and a knee replacement and could not walk far before the surgeries. One thing I found helpful was a cane that had a seat. It was great for the long walks from the ship off the piers. I could sit for a few minutes whenever I needed to.

Pinnacle Soufflé and Tamarind Chocolate - both desserts of course!

One quick look at the deck plan and I noticed they are handicap accessible cabins, which does mean they have roll in showers, although it does say they also have a tub.

We were in a Lido Cabana recently on the Neiuw Amsterdam. It was the best extra money we ever spent on a cruise. There are speakers all around the pool area. We certainly did not find them to be loud. A few times a day we would hear the music that was generally heard in the whole pool area. We loved the extra space it gave us and the cabana steward was very attentive, providing snacks and champagne every afternoon. We would have our breakfast there every morning as well.
-
Thanks for that info. There is one particular date that we want to have dinner in the Tamarind, so I may not want the package if I cannot book it beforehand.
-
And a question to add to OP's as we are thinking of the same. Can you purchase this package in advance and still make your reservations ahead of time or do you have to wait until you are on board to make the reservations?

The is at the cafe but not in the Lido or dining room.

We had a Lido cabana for the first time on our Caribbean Nieuw Amsterdam cruise. Best money I have ever spent on a cruise. It gave us someplace other than our cabin to call our own. The service was great as well, with complimentary sparkling wine and snacks in the afternoon. There was a fruit basket and bottled water at all times in the Cabana. Our Cabana steward also offered to bring our breakfast and lunch each day, as well as any cocktails. There was a menu on the table in the Cabana.

That rhymes with "P", that stands for pool!

I'm no help. As a fellow Canuck my go to is a Caesar or a rye and coke!

Thanks for the videos Scott! Love the vlogs. We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam in November. Similar ship with a similar itinerary. We loved Half Moon Cay. It was our favourite stop. My hubby went horseback riding for the first time. FYI - they poop in the water too!
We missed Grand Turk on our cruise but hope to get there another time.

I am cruising in September and have already booked and paid for unlimited laundry through ship services.

Our last cabin was also assigned as a handicapped cabin. I'm sure they keep them available until they are assigning the last week in case they are needed. I would hope that people needing them would book before the last minute to assure they get one. As it happens, I was waiting for a knee replacement when we travelled so we actually enjoyed the assistive devices in the bathroom!

We were in Boston Thurs to Sat. the year we did that cruise. We bought tickets in advance for the OldTyme Trolley. It is a hop on hop off trolley that passed by every 15 minutes. We did not take the Duck but had a 1 hour harbour cruise included for free with the purchase of the trolley tickets. Our trolley driver was great and gave a great narrative while we drove. We just got off at the harbour, had lunch and took our harbour cruise and caught another trolley to complete the journey. We had a wonderful, educational, entertaining day!

As mentioned previously, here are my comments now that we have had a Lido Cabana on the NA earlier this month. It was, for us, probably the best extra money we have spent on a cruise. We has 3 sea days to start, having had to miss Grand Turk, so we got a lot if use out of it. We used it everyday, even port days, for at least part of the day. We had a great steward that looks after the cabanas (Patrick) and had breakfast there a few times, as well as lunch. It was nice being by the pool and having our own space and shade.

One last point- our biggest disappointment was the Explorations Cafe. It was difficult to access, as you could only get there on the forward elevators, they ran out of treats early, they closed early and the server there was more interested in chatting on the phone than helping customers. I usually enjoy a chai latte, but after being disappointed there twice, we did not return.

Yes, "Dutch" pea soup. Thick enough to use a fork! Yum!
what is your best remedy for ocean motion?

Bonine for me as well but as stated, not available in Canada. I buy it across the border. I start taking it 2 nights before we sail and take it every night before bed during the cruise. Have never had sea sickness while using it.
