Is there more shopping on the road that goes down to Senor Frogs or the next one over?

Take the 7 day over 5. I like RC better in every way, but they've gotten very pricey.

Not looking ahead. When we came back into New Orleans on our second cruise it was actually snowing, and we had no jacket of any kind. On our cruise out of LA we did not know that even in June the wind coming in off the Pacific was very cold. I had to buy a jacket on the ship.

Which one has the best conch fritters?

We've been on the Elation twice and did not enjoy the food either. Hopefully the Dream will be better.

It looks like it is really close to Canal and Bourbon. Is it an ok area? Is it worth the $300 it's listed for?

We are looking at straw market first as we will not want to eat at 9:00 in the morning. My wife will stay in straw market quite a while. Then, according to what time it is we will do the beach or fish fry. Is there anything else to do in Nassau?

How far is it in distance from the port to Fish Fry? We're an out of shape couple in our early 60s. We want to go to the Straw Market and pick up some souvenirs, then walk to Fish Fry, then to Junkanoo for about an hour. Are there chairs and umbrellas to rent at Junkanoo?

Is this within walking distance from the port? It's there a beach close by?

Just booked this hotel. It offers 7 nights parking with a shuttle to the port and back. $169. I have a $150 gift card for choice hotels so I hit this pretty good.

We are going to Freeport and Nassau and Key Weston Carnival from New Orleans.....7 days.

Will be in Freeport and Nassau on consecutive days. We only want to do one beach day and find something to do in the other port. Which city to tour and which beach?

We have been to NOLA many times. This time we're just coming in the night before to the outskirts and then drive to the port the next morning. We'll park at the port.

Can anyone tell me about the Comfort Suites at 7051 Bullard near UNO or the Comfort Suites at the airport in Kenner?
