  1. Hi! We purchased a ring at an EFFY store in port while on a Carnival cruise. It's very beautiful, paid just under $2000, since then I have seen a pair of earrings there I just love. EFFY said they have an upgrading policy, however I didn't ask too many questions about it. Could I potentially give this ring back, and get a smaller more modest ring and the earrings if they equal the same price as my first ring (or if more expensive I would pay the difference)?

Thanks for any input you have.

  3. We do have a credit card in American dollars so that is not the problem. The reason we need to exchange money is for any cash purchases while in the ports. The first person who replied sent a link to a Carnival page which they said they also charge a fee, so Iam sure they are not the cheapest route to take. Thanks for all suggestions.

  4. I would love to read your review. We are sailing on the Conquest in March on an 8 day eastern itinerary. I have two questions for you:

    1) Do you have the FunTimes or menus to upload or email?

    2) Were the FunShops closed during your cruise? If so, did they say when they would reopen?

Thanks! Looking forward to your review.

  5. I was booked in an interior unknowingly it could hold 4 people and I was just one. A week before the cruise, carnival called and asked if I would like to upgrade to a balcony for $400. I declined. A few days later they called and offered me a balcony for $200 extra. I thought this was great and took it. She told me they offered it to me because I was only 1 in a room for 4. And that their interior room for 4 was easier to sell than the balcony for 4 they put me in. Makes sense.

This time we are 2 people booked in a room for 2, so I doubt the same kind of call will be coming.

  6. I read a recent post where someone mentioned starting on January 27th the fun shops were closed for their whole entire cruise. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this or when they will be open again. We are cruising in early March and I really look forward to browsing and shopping there.

  7. I'm not sure what you mean by an Electrical Locker.

But if it's a switch room it is unlikely to cause much noise.

I'm not sure what it means either, I just found it on another post on CC outlining the cabins that have white space beside them and listing what the white space represents on this particular ship.

  8. Hi! We book an inside room on the Early Savers rate. As part of the rate we also got $50 on board credit. Then there was a price drop and we received $25 more OBC. We are now considering upgrading to a balcony. We are about 2 months away from cruising and Early Saver is no longer available.

My question is: if we were to pay for the upgrade, what would happen to our OBC?

  9. Hello! I was wondering if anyone can comment on what the noise (if any) is like in room 1365 on the Carnival Conquest. It seems to have a mystery room beside it. I found an old forum on here where someone said they think it's an Electrical Locker (not sure what kind of sound would be coming from that) or that it's a laundry room.

Any feed back would be great :)
