A little more information on Celebrity's luggage valet.
Your Luggage Valet request might be denied due to a random TSA selection.
Celebrity has specific "flights after" time restrictions.
I had to call Celebrity a few times to find someone that knew the exact details of the program.
I believe if you land in FLL and fly out of MIA you can still do the program, but again there are flight time restrictions. Same thing if you do the reverse. Again, my suggestion is to call Celebrity/Captain's Club.
If you do the program, be sure they print off all of your boarding passes. They didn't print our connection BP's, but a quick call and we had new boarding passes printed.
And, this is not the same as Luggage Forward, which ships your luggage from home to the ship.

Mom and I recently got off the Infinity in FLL and used Luggage Valet - $20 per person. They took our luggage the night before disembarkation and we didn't see them again until we landed home.
The night prior to leaving we received special luggage tags and our boarding passes.
I know this service isn't available in all ports, but certainly worth checking out.

Thank you. After re-reading my post, it's a bit confusing. I've upgraded Mom to 11500, and currently my brothers are in 11514 and 11524 - both Large Balcony Rooms.
I prefer the Owner's suite on 10, but there are only regular balcony rooms, none close to the OS with large balcony.
Decided to stick with our deck 11 rooms and pray the penthouses drop... A LOT!

Hi -
I have a question about "Balcony cat BC Deck 10" and "Large Balcony cat B6 Deck 11". I know the sq footage is different, but is that difference all balcony, or is the room itself larger?
Currently we have booked Deck 11 - 11500, 11514 and 11524. However, looking at Deck 10, the Owner's suite (10502) appears to have a much larger balcony.
I'm thinking of switching, but don't want to lose too much inside space in the balcony rooms.
Are the bathrooms the same size? I've heard the showers are not very roomy.
I've searched for detailed information on the balcony rooms, but have not been very successful.
Thank you

Thank you. My TA said there is a curtain to separate bedroom from living room.

I am trying to confirm if Penthouse w/ Large Balcony cabin number 11520 has a separate bedroom. I have seen different layouts and descriptions.
Thank you!

Where do I find the Tuesday Specials?

I was on the same cruise and developed a cold as well. But the more logical explanation is due to the heat/humidity outside and the air conditioning inside - and going between to the two extremes on a daily basis. Unless you stayed inside the ship the entire time...
Never saw a dirty bathroom and there were plenty of sanitizer stations placed around the ship, before the dining rooms, in the bathrooms, getting off and on the ship.

We just sailed on the Infinity, booked in a Royal Suite. Our Michael's club concierge, Gareth, was a huge benefit to our cruise before, during and after sailing. He helped us arrange dietary needs for Mom prior to sailing, provided detailed information for us regarding boarding with wheelchair assistance, arranged a private Apple tips/tricks class, bridge tour, whisky tasting and high tea to name a few events. Since we did not purchase a beverage package it was nice to pop in there for a bloody mary or after dinner drink - not to mention the many large bottles of water I took with me. After sailing we needed copies of our cabin account charges which our MC concierge emailed within 24 hours. He was always available to help with questions when we weren't sure who else to ask.
For us, having access to Michael's Club was great and it will certainly be a factor when choosing another Celebrity cruise - hopefully with Gareth.

I tried to figure out the email for the Michael's Club concierge on the Infinity, but it kept getting bounced back, so I email the Equinox and hope they will pass it along.
I tried IN_ and IF_
Any other suggestions?
We are sailing on Monday and it would be awesome if Mom could recieve a welcome aboard email.

On the Celebrity main page, if you scroll to the bottom you'll see "Contact Us". It allows me to write the message, but when I hit submit, I get a message that says "This page no longer exist"
We had a question on Mom's passport but that has been solved. Her passport expires 3 months after our Panama Canal cruise and we got conflicting answers to whether she needs to have it updated before sailing.
In the long run we are getting it updated because, from what I've read if we need to fly out of one of the ports, there might be delays.

I'd like to email Celebrity, but the "Contact Us" link the one website is no longer available.
Does anyone have an alternate address?
Thanks -

We are on the Nov 19 sailing of the Infinity and will be taking this excursion the day after going through the canal. I have read several reviews that said it's an excellent excursion. Very excited!

I think the mailing services are out of whack. Celebrity keeps sending me emails addressed to Leonard. I don't even know a Leonard.
Then RCCL sent me a survey about my recent cruise. Haven't sail with them in 20+ years. I'm bummed if I missed a cruise I was on!
-
I talked with Celebrity about booking excursions before final payment and the way they explained it was I could reserve them ahead of time and pay them along with final payment, BUT....
If they are only reserved and not paid for, we risk the chance of losing that reservation if others pay before us.
My suggestion - if it's an excursion you really want, pay at time of reserving the spots.

C-Dragons. Were you escorted as you entered the ship? Mom and I are sailing out of San Diego in April, and I am not sure what to expect when we board. We have never sailed Celebrity, much less in a Royal Suite! Very excited!

Success! It went through the first try yesterday - couldn't believe it! I was so surprised I just sat there and stared at the screen. LOL

Tried a few times today with no luck. :-(

Good for you! Enjoy!

I love juicing! I got started after being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and soft tissue/muscle injuries earlier this year. Doing research and talking to others one thing that was a common denominator was poor cell nutrition. Juicing, unlike smoothies, is pure juice so it is directly absorbed into the cells and does not have the fiber which goes through the digestion process.
Anyway - I started with citrus juices but now love green juices, although they are a bit funky in color. My favorite: spinach, kale, parsley, cucumber, green apples, celery, lemon and ginger. I try to juice 4-5 times a week as my lunch meal replacement. Along with conscious eating, walking and juicing I've lost 49 pounds (oh that darn 1 pound!) since April.
I use this website for great recipes - She has great recipes and not just for juicing. Whatever you decide to purchase, make sure it's easy to clean. I have a Hamilton Beach juicer that I got from Amazon.com for less than $100.

When I spoke with a Celebrity rep earlier this week, he said if I want the promotion, my cabin will have to be "repriced" at the promotion rate. Makes me think my cabin price will be higher with the promotion. I'll call and see what they say.
-
One other thing I thought of last night - I always told my neighbor that a new car/person will be coming and going and that she had permission.
-
I'm sure I'm over thinking things as usual. :-) Considering it will be early morning we'll be fine with a cab.
-
We arrive April 29, 2014 on the Celebrity Infinity. We will be doing the Luggage Valet service so that will be one less thing to worry about. Our flight is not until the afternoon so that is not a concern - it's the ease of transport I'm thinking about. As long as the lines move quickly, we should be okay. Am I safe to assume we will not be under a cover?
Thank you -
Which RS to book on infinity?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
Mom and I were on the Infinity over Thanksgiving and we had RS 6137, which turned out to be perfect For us. Close to the elevator. The buffet was at that end and Blu was one deck down. We ate most of our meals in Blu,with the exception of 2 specialty dinings and
formal nights in the MDR.
